Our story

Car buying is broken.
We're fixing it.

The moment you walk into a dealership — or even visit their website — you lose leverage. They know who you are, what you're looking for, and how to keep you in a room until you sign. AutoAnon flips that dynamic.

The problem we set out to solve

Most car buyers do weeks of research before setting foot in a dealership. They know the invoice price, the market median, the trim differences. And then they walk in and immediately give their name and phone number to a salesperson whose entire job is to extract maximum margin.

The result: a negotiation where one side has all the information and the other is guessing. The buyer tries to hold out. The dealer tries to wear them down. Hours pass. Nobody enjoys it. And at the end, the buyer isn't sure whether they got a good deal or just got tired.

There's a better way. It works in almost every other category — you describe what you want, suppliers compete, you pick the best offer. Cars are no different, except the industry hasn't been forced to work that way. Until now.

How AutoAnon works differently

Dealers compete before you engage

Instead of visiting dealers one by one and negotiating from a position of unknown information, you get their real best offer in writing before any relationship starts. Competing dealers means competing prices.

Your identity is the last thing you share

Your name, phone, and email are never on the table until you decide to close. Dealers see your vehicle request — make, model, condition, ZIP — and nothing else. There are no spam calls from dealers you didn't choose.

Transparency by design

Every offer shows the vehicle price, dealer fee, trade-in offer, and financing terms separately. Our AI assistant analyzes each offer against market data and explains it in plain English. No hidden numbers, no surprises at the F&I table.

Free for buyers — always

We charge dealers a small fee when they submit an offer and when a buyer accepts. Buyers never pay. That alignment matters: our incentives are to help buyers find great deals, not to close transactions at any price.

What we stand for

Anonymity is non-negotiable

Buyer anonymity isn't a feature we might remove — it's the architecture. Dealer-facing code can never access buyer PII until a specific offer is accepted. This isn't a policy; it's how the system is built.

No spam. Ever.

Dealers who receive a buyer's contact information through AutoAnon may use it only to complete that specific transaction. Selling leads, adding buyers to mailing lists, or contacting them about other vehicles without consent violates our terms and gets dealers removed.

Honest pricing

We require dealers to include dealer fees, trade-in offers, and financing terms in a single offer — no low-ball prices that balloon at the dealership. What you see is what you get.

We work with dealers, not against them

Good dealers benefit from AutoAnon too. They get qualified, motivated buyers — not tire-kickers — and they compete on the merit of their offer. We want dealers to win the right business, not just any business.
