Bought a 2016 tesla, less then a month later Ac unit went out. Of course it’s nothing that warranty covers and dealership avoided my calls, cost me $8000. Now 6 Months later the engine car leaks in multiple spots and guess what… warranty doesn’t cover any of that either. Leaks from both wing doors down both pillars and my truck has 4” of water in it.
Hi there. I am writing to tell you all that my experience at 101 auto group was better than good. JC was very friendly and personable and the owner, Christian is the same. This was very different than other used car sales experiences I have ever had. I would encourage you to go to this place to experience it yourself. Thanks be to God for this place and these men. Cheers!
101 Auto Group had a Tesla Model Y Performance advertised for $20,995. The website clarified that this included the $4,000 EV tax credit in the price. I asked Jaime, the salesperson, if any additional fees were added to the sales price. She said there were no additional fees. She then said the price includes an $8,000 down payment. I stated I was a cash buyer, so no down payment was needed. She then explained that the car was really $32,000, and they were disguising the price to allow it to be under $25,000 for the tax credit. This is very shady way to do business, not only from the false advertising perspective, but also defrauding the US government.
Terrible experience with this dealership. They may have good prices online, but they will tack on a “cat etch” fee, which is some sort of an etching fee of the VIN number on either the car or the catalytic converter. They will tell you that California or the bank requires this, but that it is a scam and California does not require it. They tried to charge $995 for this etching fee…Which we all know is the commission that the salesman will make. Also, JC was rude. I told him that I did not want to pay that and he said well we are required to pay it so you can always go somewhere else. Unprofessional and unresponsive. Take your money somewhere else rather than these rude scammers.
The salesman at 101 auto group was on top of his game. All my questions were answered honestly and the purchase process was quick and easy. I drove along way for my purchase so it was important for to have all my questions s answered prior to the test drive so I didn't have a wasted trip. My trip was not wasted and I am very happy with my purchase. Great job 101 auto group!
