# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with some customers praising excellent customer service, fair pricing, and vehicle quality, while others report serious concerns including misleading advertising, poor communication, undisclosed salvage titles, and vehicles with missing or malfunctioning parts. Multiple reviewers describe dishonest business practices and feel misled by discrepancies between advertised conditions and the actual vehicle condition upon pickup.
This was the first time me getting a car from Turo . I was amazed by the customer service that was given to me. The guy at the front desk, very helpful very informative. The guy that actually put me in the car very helpful. Willing to assist this company did not overcharge me. They charge me exactly what I needed to be charged for renting the car. it was very cheap at that cause I’m a very cheap person when I got in the car which was a Fiat 500. The smell of the car was wonderful. The interior was wonderful. The exterior was wonderful. I love driving in the car to the point that I asked the manager can I finance that Fiat from them, the Fiat does not take that much gas. It literally only took $25 to fill up the tank and going two hours in the car. I still wasn’t even down half a tank so that is a great gas saver when I returned the car, he was nice. Told me exactly how I returned the keys and where to put it at. Everything just went wonderful and I would definitely definitely recommend a lot of people that I know on social media to shop with him on Turo. I would never recommend something that I don’t like. I’m a black woman. We just don’t play like that. The drive was smooth. Everything went well and if I didn’t already say the car was exceptionally clean and everything just went perfectly again. This is my first time getting a car from them and I was very impressed. Very very impressed. Thank you so much and I’ll be riding with you all again soon.
Did a Turo rental for the weekend and am absolutely disappointed by the experience with these people. Difficult to communicate with, no single point of contact and all the employees say different/contradicting things. Ended up paying additional fees for the lack of clarity and communication on their end. Do yourself a favor and rent your vehicle elsewhere.
501 motors made it super easy to shop for my vehicle and gave me a good deal. They have multiple vehicles all makes and models and you’re able to go home with your own same day would definitely recommend.
BUYERS BEWARE!! Texas Administrative Code (Title 43, Part 10, Chapter 215), a dealer’s advertising cannot be "false, deceptive, or misleading." This includes any digital platform like a dealership website, Facebook Marketplace, or Autotrader. They currently have listed a Cadillac CT5 that has a salvage title. There is no mention of it on their Facebook ad, or website. The ad says the car is in "pristine condition" and "meticulously maintained." Legally, in Texas, if a dealer knows a car has been declared a total loss and rebuilt, calling it "pristine" is a violation of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA). "Pristine" implies it hasn't had major structural surgery.
Do not use (rental from Turo) or buy from these dishonest people. The cars run but you’ll pay for so many minor repairs that you may as well have car trouble. Things that are imperative for driving. The people aren’t honest in ANY of their dealings be it rental through Turo or an actual purchase. It would behoove you just to stay away because once they have your money, they will not help you any further and will go to dishonest heights to extrapolate more money out of you any way they can. A real cliche’ used car dealership with shady used care salesman. Stay. Away. The pictures below are of the car on the dealers website compared to the car missing pieces when I arrived. They LIED TO NO END. The other car had no freaking headlights. There are better used car dealerships and I would readily suggest you go with them because this lot misrepresents and falsely advertise.
