Airport Mazda of Toronto

My experience with Mazda Airport Toronto has been extremely disappointing. We purchased a used 2023 Mazda CX-5, and only a few weeks later, the vehicle began experiencing brake vibration and pulling to the right. We brought it back to the dealership to have those issues inspected, but after multiple service visits, a much more serious problem appeared that had not existed before: abnormal noises during acceleration and a significant loss of power. The dealership’s own staff acknowledged that the vehicle’s behaviour was not normal. We were later told that the entire engine might need to be replaced under warranty, yet we still have not received a clear and transparent technical explanation of what caused the damage. When we requested a fair solution, such as replacing the vehicle or cancelling the contract, the dealership refused and only offered a trade-in option that would leave us with a substantial financial loss after such a short period of ownership. The customer service has been extremely poor. Based on our experience, they do not appear genuinely concerned about protecting the customer or providing a fair resolution. Their main priority seems to be protecting the dealership’s own interests. We are now obtaining legal advice and an independent mechanical expert report, and we are prepared to pursue the matter through OMVIC and the courts if necessary. If you want to avoid unnecessary stress, wasted time, and serious problems with your vehicle, I strongly recommend thinking carefully before purchasing from this dealership. Document everything, request all diagnoses in writing, and do not rely only on verbal promises.
