# Summary This dealership receives polarized feedback, with some customers praising individual salespeople like Rudy and Nicholas for exceptional service and competitive offers, while others report serious concerns including misrepresentation of vehicle history, hidden fees, poor follow-up communication, and unprofessional conduct from staff. The inconsistency in experience quality—ranging from highly satisfactory sales interactions to problematic service department practices and ethical issues—suggests significant variation in how different departments and employees operate.
AVOID THE DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS . I purchased a slightly used (1450 miles) 2025 Chrysler Pacifica from them March 2, 2026. I was advised by them and the Carfax that it was involved in a minor incident (superficial scratches), but during a random hot day a week later, it was determined the air-conditioning didn’t work. I brought it to a Chrysler dealership closer to me and found out that it was involved in a major accident with the undercarriage being incredibly bent and parts haphazardly replaced. I emailed pictures and wrote up an email of the laws that were broken, so they agreed to give me my money back. I was able to finally get my money back in May 2026. Here are the issues I had: - When I went to pick up the vehicle a week after purchasing, it was not ready for me (even though they said they would have it ready). I had to wait quite a while for it. - When I finally got the vehicle, it was not fully vacuumed and there was sticker goo and a black X in the corner of the windshield. I had to ask them to take it back to re-vacuum it. -When working with the manager (Don) and the general manager (Kip), I was told that they would call me back, text and or email a few different times during the disaster of getting my money back and they never did. I had to contact them or track them down each time. - Yes, this car was used, but when buying from a certified dealer, you expect quality and truthfulness. Supposedly they do a quality inspection prior to putting their cars on the lot, but somehow the vehicle I bought made it out on the sales lot when it absolutely should not have. Which makes me wonder if I brought it to them to have the air conditioner fixed that I never would’ve found out it was involved in a major accident and I would be driving an unsafe vehicle. The only reason I am giving this dealership two stars is because they did take the van back and I got my full money back. They also gave me a van to use while I waited for my money. Except for the use of a van while I waited for my money back, everything was difficult/ a disaster, and I will never recommend this dealership to anyone.
From the moment I stepped onto the lot, Rudy was A++. His spirit was far beyond anything I expected. He was positive, respectful, and knowledgeable. Not one time did he leave us without letting us know what’s next. In my 40 years of buying cars, this is, by far, the best experience. Rudy was NEVER pushy or aggressive. I appreciate you and your team for making us feel welcomed and heard. Great work! I did all of that defensive prepping for nothing.
I recently made the biggest decision to trade in my beloved 2022 RAM 1500 for a new 2026 Rebel, it was a though decision to make, but my salesmen Nicholas and manager Don were very kind and respectful throughout the whole process. They worked hard to get a good interest rate, 2.9 with no money down! I would say by far from other dealerships (sales wise) Antioch has probably been the most preferred. They will honestly probably go far and long to get that sale to make you happy. Such as giving me free Chicago Auto Show Tickets, honestly was probably deal maker right there. All though the truck is different, it’s definitely a beauty on RAM’s part. The buying process is nerve racking due to a big purchase and decision making but I know in a year I will be happy and traveling the great USA with my new truck. Thank you Nick and Don over Antioch Dodge, cheers!
I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider doing business with this dealership. My experience was deeply disappointing, both financially and ethically. First, the pricing practices were concerning. In addition to the advertised price of the vehicle, there were numerous unexpected fees totaling approximately $1,000. An additional $800 “service fee” was included, which appeared to cover only a basic oil change. These charges were not clearly communicated upfront or mentioned on their website and significantly increased the overall cost of the vehicle. Even more troubling was the behavior we witnessed while discussing our purchase. Several salesmen standing near the front entrance made openly homophobic jokes and comments, including the use of a slur spoken loudly enough for customers and staff to hear. The remarks were followed by laughter. This occurred in a professional business setting, in front of both employees and patrons. When we raised our concerns, we met with the owner. The response was, at best, a partial apology. The behavior of the employees was effectively excused with the explanation that “it’s hard to get salesmen.” Such reasoning does not justify or excuse discriminatory or offensive conduct in any workplace, especially one serving the public. Additionally, the vehicle cleaning service—another charged fee—was poorly done and did not reflect the cost. Overall, the lack of transparency in pricing and the unacceptable conduct we experienced make this a business I cannot recommend. I would rate this experience far below one star if that were an option.
Service Department review. For a long time I brought our three Mopar vehicles for oil changes and minor services. Bypassing the Gurnee Dodge dealer which is a LOT closer to our home. I came here because they were very fair and competitive with their oil changes. The last 4 times I've gotten either attitude or told that a 69.00 oil change coupon doesn't work on one car even though I bring in all three vehicles here. Service was mostly fine up until recently. But since the service department wants to start nickel and diming me over 10-15 bucks even though I bring all our vehicles here at different intervals, I'm good no longer giving them my money. Not a 1 star review because it's their choice to not be flexible with a customer but it's definitely not a 4 or 5 stars because of that. Also the drop in 1 star from the middle is because they lost one of my Gorilla locking luggage nuts about a year or so ago in a tire rotation.
