I recently had my vehicle serviced at Apple Ford, Danville, Virginia and I couldn’t be more pleased with the level of customer service I received. I had to leave my car over the weekend, which could have been a major inconvenience. However, Mr. David Astin and Cindy from the Service Department went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. They made sure I had access to a vehicle for the weekend, which truly eased my concerns and allowed me to continue with my plans without disruption. I knew I was in good hands while setting in the lounge looking through the windows I saw the lady who checked my car in putting a plastic cover over my seat and a paper floor matt They really do take care of your car while in for maintenance work and I can say from experience that they have Great Service and have Great People working at AppleFord of DANVILLE VA. I had an appointment scheduled for today, but upon my arrival, the technician who was assigned to perform the work questioned my request for a different spark plug gap and the use of aftermarket plugs. The technician's demeanor was impolite, and they referred to NGK plugs as "trash," despite my positive experiences with them. Many owners of my specific Ford performance vehicle model utilize these plugs without issue. I explained to the service manager that my vehicle has a Ford performance tune, and he informed me that they would not be able to service it. He stated that they do not have techs familiar with Ford performance parts. I perceive this as a personal matter, as I had previously indicated to the technician that they could either proceed with the work or decline it. Evidently, they chose the latter. This is acceptable, as I was able to find another dealership to perform the service. My experience was quite unpleasant from the moment I entered until I departed. I will not be returning to this dealer, even for warranty work. An hour of my time was unfortunately spent traveling to and from the dealership. The service advisor claimed to have attempted to contact me on multiple occasions, but I only had one missed call.
