I had a highly unprofessional and concerning experience at Arogill Auto Sales (Lougheed Hyundai) with Harpreet Gill and Mani Arora. I accompanied a friend who was trying to reduce his financial burden by trading out of a high-payment Mitsubishi Outlander ($410 biweekly). The proposal presented to us — a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid — offered almost no real benefit. Payments were only marginally lower while extending the loan term and carrying significant negative equity. I declined the deal as it was not financially reasonable. Following this, Mani Arora made inappropriate and personal remarks, stating that I “don’t know how to make a deal” and questioning the value of my business knowledge. This conduct was unprofessional and unacceptable. Additionally, we were told that an interest rate reduction from 9.99% to 4.99% was being offered as a “personal favor,” allegedly tied to providing business to a specific bank. This raises serious concerns regarding transparency and potential misrepresentation of financing terms. Overall, this experience reflects high-pressure tactics, lack of professionalism, and questionable sales practices. I would advise others to proceed with caution.
