Tim was very knowledgeable about the car’s options during the specification process. He used his extensive contacts in Aston Martin to get a lot of clarifications early in the process and to get them to do what they had not done! He listened to my ideas, proposed others and help create a beautiful car. He had an in depth knowledge of what was available in Aston Martin’s paint colors resulting in a lot more options for me. He was instrumental in pushing Aston to “extend their capabilities “ to achieve what he and I had imagined. He kept me informed as to the car’s progress during the build phase. At delivery he provided in depth training on the car’s operation spending a lot of time with me. His enthusiasm for the process made it a lot of fun for me.

Clayton is exceptional - he provided the best experience I ever had purchasing a car. He is courteous, knowledgeable, attentive, trustworthy, patient. Day #1 we arrived just to test drive a Vantage Roadster - I did not have an appointment and had no intention of buying. I researched the Vantage and its competitors - it was time for me to actually start driving them. After spending some time with Clayton and the car, he invited Christine and I to take it for a drive. We returned on Day #2 for more of the same, on Day #3 we made the purchase. There was really no negotiation, it was more of a 3-day exploration of an amazing car and historical brand. Our conversation, including phone calls and text messages, over 3 consecutive days built trust and confidence. I was still a little nervous. The financial transparency and candor of Clayton and the entire Newport Beach dealership put me at ease and helped me get comfortable with the most expensive car purchase I have ever made. The aftermarket protective coatings were excellent recommendations. I also appreciated the delivery ceremony and the dealership’s effort to make for such a memorable experience. I had a spectacular experience buying a Vantage from Aston Martin Newport Beach today. I was helped from my initial inquiry through my purchase by Tim, who was the kindest and most helpful sales manager I’ve ever met across any retail experience. He was very communicative via phone and email, and we had the purchase details ironed out ahead of my visit so I was able to come in, check out all the cars in the showroom (and WOW did they have an awesome inventory! I got to see a Valour!) and learn about the brand, then test drive the car I was interested in. They even let me put my golf clubs in the back to see if they fit before buying the car, which was awesome. It took less than 15 minutes after the test drive to have the purchase finalized and every document signed - if you’ve bought a car anywhere else, surely you’ve spent hours in some scary back office with a finance manager. Instead of that, Tim told me exactly what I needed, how the included Timeless CPO warranty worked, and didn’t oversell me at all - all right next to the awesome showroom cars.
