Found him years ago and when find an honest mechanic you go back! Pricing up front and real. My Dad was mechanic for over 40 years, nice to find one just as good. Took it to dealership wanted $6000 to fix. Showed Amed the report. He looked it over and car. Came down to $1000. 2016 Santa Fe is fixed! A couple of days later, my daughter's 2003 car broke the drive shaft hitting a curb to avoid a car. He drove to Providence, himself, to get the part and did the work that very day! If you look up the parts you need for your car repairs, you will find he's on target and reasonable labor charge. His receipt shows all charges, not a lump total like some places. I agree with some posts here. He explains what is wrong, why it needs to be fixed and gives you a very fair estimate before fixing. His mechanics are knowledgeable and will answer questions too. All round great place! Beyond happy I found him!

I came to this Shell location for an oil change and I want to start by saying the mechanics are very nice and professional. They did their job well and I appreciated their service. However, my experience with the receptionist was not pleasant. He is an older man and while he can be playful at times, he tends to have a short fuse. I’ve given him multiple chances and tried to brush it off as just his personality, but it has happened too many times and that doesn’t make it ok. During my most recent visit, I clearly mentioned that I needed synthetic oil, but he ignored me and then raised his voice, saying, “you need to speak up, nobody can hear you.” The tone felt unnecessary and disrespectful. I addressed it calmly and let him know that speaking to customers that way is not okay, especially toward women. He responded by saying he was “just playing,” but his demeanor and body language didn’t reflect that, it came across as frustration rather than humor. When he saw I was upset and stood up for myself he was very apologetic, but didn’t mean it. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the mechanics provide great service, but customer interaction at the front desk really affects the overall experience.

I can’t recommend this business enough. They helped me yesterday TREMENDOUSLY with two tire issues I was having. Even though they were busy, the gentleman took the time to let me explain what my issue was. He squeezed me in and took excellent care of me. If you have ANY issues and are local this is the place to go. Every single person here was so kind and helpful. Thank you so much for all your help and I will be back with ANY issue I have in the future. You guys are the BEST. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Thank you again.
