Extremely disappointing experience with Attrell Hyundai Brampton across service, sales, and trade-in appraisal. I brought my 2020 Hyundai Tucson in after a major engine failure at around 117,000 km. The vehicle was properly maintained with full service records, including approximately 78,000 km completed through Hyundai dealerships, all of which was provided. Despite this, I felt the handling of my case lacked transparency, clarity, and proper customer support. I was charged approximately $451 for diagnostics to determine whether Hyundai’s engine program applied to my vehicle. There was no clear explanation provided for this charge, even though the inspection was required to identify the engine issue and eligibility. The trade-in appraisal was also significantly lower than expected and did not reflect the vehicle’s overall condition. Communication throughout the process felt dismissive, and my concerns were not properly addressed in a meaningful way. I raised my concerns with Sales Manager Sinan Al-Teman .The Sales Manager mentioned that their focus is solely on business and sales, and not on customer relationships. It felt like once a vehicle is sold, customers are treated like strangers until another sale is involved, at which point they become attentive and friendly again. I also raised concerns with the General Manager regarding the inspection charges. The GM only offered a $50 adjustment, which felt inadequate and somewhat dismissive given the situation. I chose to pay the full amount at the time, but I find this approach disappointing and disrespectful. Overall, the experience felt transactional rather than customer-focused. Once a sale is completed, there appears to be limited consideration for long-term customer support, fairness, or accountability in handling post-sale issues. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership.
