I had the pleasure of working with Kenan on my car purchase. I was out of state and dealing with other dealerships trying to find a particular car. Service department incompetent and dishonest. They will scam your extended warranty with un-needed repairs. Then will scam you by charging additional diagnostic inspection fees for the same issues. They will not honor the one year repair warranty for diagnostic inspection. I had a BMW before Audi. Let me say that BMW doesn’t charge multiple diagnostic inspection fees for separate issues addressed during the visit. The diagnostic fee is supposed to find everything wrong with car and it’s covered by a one year warranty. So if they charge to inspect/repair A/C problems, then they must cover the diagnostic fee for A/C issues that occurs for one year. The service manager of this Audi got rude/dismissive when I challenged the charges. He tried to have me sign agreement to over $400 in additional diagnostic fees. He said the fees will be “refunded” ONLY IF the problem they find is the same exact as the problem they fixed. And this is how you know when a car shop is scam. There is no way for customers to actually know what Audi fixes was really the problem to begin with. I brought my car for a/c issue. It sporadically blow hot air for short period of time. This would happen randomly couple of times a month. I thought it was an electrical, thermostat or software issue. Audi said they could not find anything wrong except lower coolant level. They charged my warranty for coolant. I thought it was odd because low coolant wouldn’t allow the a/c to be super cold all the time. I picked up my car. The next time I turned on the car, I got a warning “start malfunction”. This was something new that happened while my car was being worked on by Audi. Audi made me pay another $250 in diagnostic inspection for the switch! I paid the fee and they supposedly installed a new switch. Few months later and I’m still seeing random hot air blowing from A/C. And the warning the light for “switch malfunction”. Audi refuses to do re-inspection unless I pay additional $400 for diagnostic fee.
