# Summary The dealership receives polarized feedback, with sales staff earning consistent praise for professionalism and accommodation, while service department experiences vary dramatically from efficient and courteous to understaffed with poor attention to detail and communication breakdowns. Customers highlight concerns about service advisor responsiveness, vehicle cleanliness upon return, and clarity around service recommendations, though some report positive outcomes when working with specific service consultants.

I’m not one to leave negative reviews unless I’m really disappointed, but this was ridiculous. May 5th, I had a flat on my RS3 not too far from this dealership, so I had it towed there since these cars don’t come with spares. I got there like around 5-6 p.m., not sure what time employees leave this place, but NOBODY was there at the service center. About like 10 minutes later, the one and only service advisor shows up(he looks overwhelmed/mad). I don’t blame him. I’m told that the technicians are gone for the day and that there are no loaners available, and I said, “Cool, I’ll leave it. I don't think I have a choice at this point.” He also tells me not verbatim that if I have any questions to call but don’t expect someone to answer the phone since nobody is ever around(in my mind, I said that’s great). Next morning, May 6th, I get a call from the same service advisor and he tells me that they have to order the tire and won’t be delivered until in a couple of days. Cool, that’s fine. I asked if there were loaners available, and the answer was no. Cool, whatever. I then asked regarding the Road Vantage tire/wheel warranty that I paid for when I purchased the car. He said he had no clue and that it didn’t pop up on his computer. Could be true since I didn’t purchase the car there. I was expecting some help with that situation, but no help was offered. I’ll figure it myself, I guess. May 8th, I get a call saying it’s ready for pick-up. I picked it up on May 9th. I get there, it’s a Saturday morning. AGAIN, no one is around except one service advisor who is helping another customer. A girl at the cashier in Lala Land. No acknowledgment for quite some time until another service advisor walked in and asked if I was picking up. I said yes, and he redirected me to the girl in the cashier to pay. I then paid and waited for my car to be driven around the lot. The porter then brings the car around. I sit inside, and I’m in SHOCK. Brown dust everywhere! Assuming the technicians didn’t remove their gloves, oily fingerprints all over my door handle, center console completely filthy, brown dust all over my Alcantara steering wheel completely filthy. At this point, if I had gone back inside, I probably would’ve snapped at someone, so I decided to leave. As an Audi dealership, one would expect great customer service and them taking care of your car while they have it. I regret heavily getting my car towed here. First and last time I bring it here. From what i’ve read in previous reviews. It seems like the service center bad customer service/no staff is a problem here. Do better!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Audi Hoffman Estates. My old car got totaled & had to find a new car quickly. Unfortunately the car I wanted was brand new for 2026 and hard to get. Enter Amanda my new salesperson who quickly deduced the fastest way for me into a new Q3. About a week later I’m in my new Audi Q3. I believe one of the first to have 1 in the Midwest Region. On top of all that I reconnected with an old friend Bob LeGault one of the nicest & knowledgeable salesperson. You can not go wrong with either Amanda or Bob. Thanks again Amanda & ur GM Brian & of course Kylo (concierge & mascot).

My wife recently took her Audi to the dealership for what she believed would be a routine oil change. When she arrived, she spoke with service advisor Aldo Huerta. He recommended the 20,000-mile service and a monthly service plan. My wife told him that the vehicle had only a little over 18,000 miles and that she did not want the 20,000-mile service at that time. She also told him that she wanted to discuss the monthly service plan with me before making any decision. According to my wife, Aldo then printed a service order and asked her to sign it. Based on their conversation, she believed the paperwork reflected only the oil change she had requested. When she returned to pick up the vehicle, she was presented with a bill of approximately $979 instead of the $150–$200 she expected for an oil change. She then discovered that the 20,000-mile service had been performed and charged, despite her having explained that she did not want that service because the vehicle had not yet reached 20,000 miles. I accompanied my wife in speaking with Service Director Andy Emberton about the situation. We explained that the issue was not about avoiding payment or getting free services. The issue was that my wife had clearly declined the 20,000-mile service and trusted that the paperwork she was asked to sign reflected what had been discussed. Unfortunately, Andy’s response focused almost entirely on the fact that my wife had signed the service order. While we understand the importance of reviewing documents before signing them, we felt that our concern—that a service my wife had declined was nonetheless added to the order and performed—was not meaningfully addressed. Andy described the situation as a misunderstanding and offered a $200 coupon to reduce the bill. While we appreciated the gesture, that was not the point of our complaint. We were looking for accountability and an acknowledgment that there had been a breakdown in communication. Instead, we left feeling that the dealership was more interested in relying on the signed paperwork than understanding how the situation occurred in the first place. Trust is one of the most important reasons customers return to a dealership for service. Unfortunately, this experience left both of us disappointed and questioning whether customer instructions are being properly heard and respected. We hope management reviews this matter so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

Amanda at Audi Hoffman Estates was absolutely amazing to work with! From the first initial contact to driving away in our brand new RS3, Amanda was kind, caring, and professional. My husband and I live 4.5 hours away, and they stayed open late so my husband could make it in, all while ensuring we got top dollar for our trade. He was met with the RS3 clean, gassed up, and ready to go. I definitely recommend Audi Hoffman Estates and ask for Amanda; you will not be disappointed!

I had an issue with a dying battery so I got an appointment online with Audi Hoffman Estates and got one for Saturday. I thought it was for Friday so I called to see if they could move it and the customer rep said they could not. Then on Friday I called again and the rep said they were open and gave me an appointment 30 minutes from that time. So I took my car in. My service consultant was Jim DeRosa and it was a pleasure working with him. He got my car taken care of, and then when it took longer than expected, he got a loaner car for me. Explained the issue and I was able to get my car the very same day after an in-warranty repair. Overall, great experience, the car was washed and smelling good and I will directly call Jim DeRosa the next time I need service. 5 Stars.
