Auto Club of America Corporation

This company owns RoadAssist for RVs. If you hear of Auto Club of America or RoadAssist stay away like the plague. They want your money for a service that has no idea that when somebody needs assistance, that means they are in trouble. The reps on the phone are not nice, treat you like you are stupid, and extremely rude. When explaining where you are, for example a specific mile marker and looking a specific sign, they insist you should be in a city and not on the highway. The rep hung up on me and the state road ranger assistance company who was also explaining to the girl on the phone how simple it was to find us and there is such a thing as Google maps to help the reps on the phone. 3 hours later and during the middle of the storm, was told that if we wanted to move the RV, because there was a tool missing from the RV, that the state road ranger needed, that we would have to call an tow truck company and pay out of our own pocket. So why do we need RoadAssist? To be treated like dirt! Do NOT use this company. Call AAA and you will get immediate and experienced reps on the phone that will assists you. Do a test and call this company so you can see the difference.

Reps are super rude on the phone. Not helpful in the least. If you are paying for this service you are wasting your money. Just use AAA or another reputable company. Don't think they will be in business much longer

Had coverage with company for over 10 years then all of a sudden, boom they were gone. No notice sent what so ever, just found out when you tried to get assistance and when no one answered googled it and found it basically closed down.

Have been trying for 2 days to make a simple change of address to no avail. You try calling and all you get is a busy signal. Not sure how to get ahold of them if you need help.

Not impressed in the least. Appears to be one guy and an assistant with a fax machine that farm everything to an answering service.
