DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Without a doubt the worst car buying experience I have ever had(55yrs old0. Short story- they sold the car to another buyer as we sat negotiating with who we thought was "the" selling agent. I have no doubt they were playing both of us but managed to push the other buyer across the line before us. LONG STORY: we found the car online, we immediately contacted the dealership and were told "it's on the truck and it will be here in 1-2 days", I called each day until it arrived late on the second day, they called and told me it was in, I asked if I need to leave a deposit(some dealerships ask this to hold the car and refund it if after the test drive you opt out) NO not necessary they said. We go and we are told "it's been popular" ...ok great but we're here now and we're ready to inspect. UNDISCLOSED DEFECTS #1 they did not disclose online that the MAIN navigation screen was shattered and DID NOT WORK- reverse camera, audio, phone connectivity inoperable. The tint on the passenger side window was bubbling(not a big deal but not disclosed) AND there was clearly water damage to the roof and side wall of the roof liner- water leak through sunroof? Despite this we drove it, liked it but suggested instead of "haggling" a price it would require repricing as these defects(especially the screen needed to work) were not disclosed. So during this 30-45 minute back and forth with agent and manager, the agent finally walks in and says "well it's been really nice to meet you, but I am sorry to say the car has been sold!" I know our purchase price is a drop in the bucket for autonation, but what they cannot put a price on is their brand and reputation. I will forever relive this story to all I come across, and I hope those reading this will appreciate our misfortune will be their gain and take their money elsewhere. I told them both that TRUST is huge to me, and autonations "business practices" have completely destroyed my trust in them FOREVER. Lesson learnt.

This dealership and the service department there are incredible! John Baumgartner has always went above and beyond too see that me and my truck recieve excellent treatment. Mike Campbell my direct service manager always goes above and beyond explaining things and keeping me updated. By far the best service department I've ever dealt with.

My wife and I drove up to Clearwater last week to see about purchasing a newer Ram 2500 pickup, we also had a trade in. I had talked to a salesman named Jonathan a few times prior to driving up there. When we got there they made us feel welcomed. After inspecting my pickup that I had for a trade-in, they assessed it and they were very fair with the trade-in value. We took the pickup that we came up to look at out for a test drive and we were very happy with it. Jonathan and the whole AutoNation team were very professional and great to work with and we wouldn't hesitate about doing business with them again in the future or referring others to them. I was happy the way they greeted me and all, but I asked for a lube, oil and filter service along with tire rotation. I didn't ask for a 50 point inspection for them to try another sale of something. Now I know why it takes so long and why it's so expensive. There will not be another visit from me. The thing that really upset me was when I got to my truck was that one of my mirrors was pointed inward and the other outward. These mirrors are power mirrors. After running the switch to bring the drivers side in and then back out, there was a loud snapping noise from the passenger side. I'm hoping that I don't have a future problem with that side. The employee had to have pushed the mirror in by hand to get it on the lift. I'm not happy at all about this visit at all.
