My fiancé and I visited the dealership Saturday morning after finding a car we were interested in on Carfax. We arrived around 10 a.m., took a quick test drive, and quickly decided we wanted to move forward with the purchase. From that point on, our experience started to decline. We began working with the finance representative, Jason, and felt that we were not given the level of service we expected possibly due to our age. Although the dealership was small and not busy at the time, we spent several hours waiting with little communication or sense of urgency. We understand that buying a car can take time, but the process felt unnecessarily drawn out. When we finally sat down to review payment options, we noticed discrepancies in the paperwork. The taxes listed were higher than expected, and Jason initially claimed our car insurance was not valid. However, the documentation we provided clearly showed that it was he simply had not taken the time to review it properly. By 4 p.m., we completed the payment review and I wired the down payment. Since it was late Saturday and banks were closed Sunday, we understood there would be a delay in processing. On Tuesday, Jason attempted to contact me while I was unavailable and called multiple times within a short period. Before giving me a reasonable chance to respond or even contacting my fiancé directly, he went as far as calling my fiancé’s military leadership. This was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. Shortly after, I learned from my bank that the wire transfer had been refunded, minus a transaction fee, even though I had already paid one. When I contacted Jason, he was not helpful in resolving the issue and instead placed urgency on fixing the situation without offering solutions. My bank suggested the routing number may have been incorrect, which is concerning since that information was provided by the dealership. Jason dismissed this possibility and incorrectly suggested it could be due to an “international bank.” Overall, we are extremely disappointed with the service we received. We felt overlooked and disrespected, and at times, unfairly judged due to our age. Regardless of age, all customers deserve professional, respectful, and efficient service especially when making a significant purchase. To add to the experience, the car itself was not properly detailed. We would not recommend this dealership based on our experience.

Avoid the service center unless you want to pay hundreds or thousands for them to "fix" fictitious problems with your vehicle. I brought my truck in recently after having issues with rough idle and brake pulsing at low speeds. The truck has 75000 miles on it and the brakes were changed 18 months ago with 25k miles on them. Not only did the dealership fail to find any issue with the motor (which required five minutes of idling to find after taking it home) and quoting $1,800 to replace all four brake rotors because they "suspected" warping (quoting the invoice/repair order next to me - they did not actually inspect the rotors, nor provide any measurements) they also asked for $800 to service the truck's 4x4 system. The problem is that my truck does not have a 4WD system. It's a rear wheel drive (2WD). I lived in another state and didn't need 4x4 there. After confronting the tech, they changed their story, claiming it was actually an all-wheel-drive truck, which again was either a lie or a sign of gross incompetence (the VIN is right there). I hung up to verify, and sure enough ten minutes later they "confirmed" that the truck was 2WD. So not only was the potentially serious motor problem I brought the truck in for not found, I was quoted $800 to service a system my truck doesn't have, and asked nearly $1000 over the national average to have brake rotors swapped - and they didn't even confirm the rotors had issues. At this point I lost all faith in the service center and declined to have any work done. I'd sooner drive to Denver to get my truck fixed than deal with this.

Plenty of good things to say about this dealer and service center in particular. I brought my ecodiesel gladiator in with a misfire fully expecting a large bill. They were able to cover it under manufacturer warranty(1 month and 2,000 miles left)and completed repair in mere hours. This is the type of service that makes you want to buy from the dealership and only let their service center work on the vehicle. Half the other dealerships in the area would've billed me and told me to take it up with jeep/stellantis.

I didn't want to leave this negative review, but this dealership has left me with no other option. I brought my 2022 Jeep Wrangler in early November for a third engine leak. It ended up needing a full engine replacement, which I understand can happen. What I don’t accept is how the dealership handled it. My Jeep sat at the dealership for weeks with no proactive communication. I had to initiate nearly every update call. I was repeatedly told my replacement engine had not yet shipped or been delivered, only to later learn the engine was actually delivered December 3rd, a week earlier than I was led to believe. A radio malfunction was reported before the warranty expired and every time the Jeep was in service. The dealership refused to note it on the repair order because they “didn’t work on it that visit,” which leaves me unprotected if they later claim it was never reported. I was told, "it's now hearsay" by a service department member. When I asked about a loud turbo noise in October, I was told “unfortunately, they all sound like that.” After the engine replacement, I was informed the turbo actually needed to be replaced, proving the initial concern wasn’t taken seriously and the diagnosis missed. I'm now stuck trying to obtain rental reimbursement from Stellantis after relying on a rental vehicle for more than a month, and the dealership has not meaningfully assisted with escalation or communication. While the mechanical repair ultimately got done, the lack of honesty, follow-through, and basic customer service has made this the most difficult service experience I’ve ever had. I wish I had read detailed reviews before trusting this shop, hopefully this saves someone else from the same experience.

5 stars for AutoNation! I was just window shopping the lot today, and I really appreciated the relaxed vibe. It’s great to be able to check out their impressive selection of trucks and SUVs without any sales pressure. The facility is super clean and the staff was friendly even though I was just looking. Definitely a top-tier dealership here in Cañon City!
