AutoNation Volkswagen Savannah

We had a great experience with everyone at AutoNation when purchasing a used vehicle for my 17 year old daughter. We had a budget and a list of what we were looking for and were well looked after. The finance manager worked with us on our trade in to make it all work for our budget and the sales team did great with teamwork when our sales contact had to go get his son another jumped right in with a great helpful attitude.

Sale was fair,good price Marco was my salesman, the day I purchased the car Marco had me test drive in their parking lot area, I refused to take the car on the street because I wanted to be very careful and I had not purchased it yet. I signed the papers and picked the car up a few days later. Marco took time explaining how the car worked then my husband and I decided because of all the traffic we would take 95 north a shorter route. 30min in the drive a tire pressure light came on. When I got home I immediately called the dealership and asked them to take care of it since I have a 90 day warranty. Marco promised he would take care of it and he would call me back with a name of someone to see at the Hilton Head Island auto Nation that was 2 hours ago when I called him he would not answer the phone. This company has 0 INTEGRITY DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM I AM NOT SURE IF THEY WILL EVEN HONOR THE WARRANTY. I was just told my 2011 Jetta cannot be serviced. Only 2014 models and later. Even after I purchased it there in 2012, brand new. For those getting any service, be aware. Check the mileage before leaving it. My invoice had the same mileage in and out. 4 months and test driven. Really...

Service here was awful. I spent way too much time waiting on them to help fix my key fob and they never fixed the problem. In total I spent over 12 hrs driving, 264 miles, and over 10 hours of waiting at the dealership. Every single time I called ahead to see if they could actually help me and every time I got positive feedback for no outcome. The last time I took my car was the final straw. I dropped my car off the night before and got a call the next day that I never showed for my appointment. When I called the service line they said not to worry and that it was an error, they were tracking my car there. I called three times that day to get updates on my vehicle with a response “someone would get in touch with me” also never happened. When I showed up to pick up my car it hadn’t moved all day. No one looked at or could give an update about my car. If I didn’t love my car I would have sold it back to the dealership right then. I hope the service section gets better and I hope no one else has this type of customer service.
