I took my Chevrolet to the local dealer in Pocahontas for an oil change, we always smelled burnt oil after the visit. It was time for another oil change and I took my car to Doniphan and the service rep came out to the waiting area and asked me where I had my last oil change I asked why and he said the oil plug was crossed threaded and it looked like the plug was tightened with an impact wrench, he said when they removed the plug a metal part fell out ( it was a helicoil ) which is used to hold a stripped threaded plug in the oil pan. It’s going to cost me nearly $1,400 to put a new oil pan on the car, it’s a front wheel drive so the transaxle has to be moved and the transfer case has to be moved, a six hour job with new fluids. I was wondering if anybody else has had problems after the local Pocahontas Chevrolet dealer worked on their vehicle, so far I have been told of one lady who was preparing to take a trip with her kids for vacation and she had her car serviced and tires rotated at the dealership and when she left one of the wheels fell off the car after driving 1/2 mile just south of the river bridge and the lady told me they didn’t make it right. So I won’t contact them about my problem. I had a gentleman tell me he went in for a tire rotate and he had marked a tire and when he went to pick up the vehicle the tire was still in the same wheel position indicating he paid for a rotate but it wasn’t done, he said he told them and they made it right. This kind of service is something that makes you go out of town when you need service. I am a retired 75 year old who has always lived in the country and driving 30 miles to shop or have the vehicle serviced is no problem so I will never trust the Pocahontas Chevrolet dealership again. You go where you are treated right.

Got my truck in and out quick for a service that got Scheduled last minute. Everyone was friendly and helpful. If you need something go see Brock, he will go out of his way to help you.

Bought from them before nice lady helped me out got vehicle down to reasonable price and overall great experience. Liked how they were last time so went back, she wasn't there anymore, older guy who helped me seemed like had no interest, kept talking with co workers. I had a down-payment in hand but seemed like had to beg him to even run an application after I bought from them in the past. May go back later and try again but for right now looking elsewhere

Had them install a new transmission in my vehicle. In less than a years time it started acting up. Dropped it off in December. 4 months later they had me come pick it up and said it was an "electrical issue" and it wasn't covered by warranty. They told me I could come pick up the car. Shortly afterwards the transmission fill out of the car while I was driving down the road with my own daughter in the backseat. It turns out that whoever installed the transmission never properly torqued the transmission mounting bolts. This is the least professional and in my opinion the most criminally negligent mechanic shop I've ever taken a vehicle to. I will never take a vehicle there again. If you value your safety and good workmanship I wouldn't go here.

Baltz Chevrolet service department went above & beyond to help us stranded travelers. We didn't even have a Chevy or GM product - their service department stayed late and got our foreign vehicle runnable for the end of our trip. They were so kind - great people!!!! I would highly recommend them!!!!
