We had an excellent experience in the sales process with April and Darrell, however had a slight problem with headlights and the service department was right on it. Lindsey set up an appointment with the Service Manager and he resolved the problem with our BMW X4 in less than 30 minutes. We are extremely satisfied with our entire experience with Banister. Highly recommend this business.

If I could rate this dealership lower I would! This is a prime example of dealerships adding on additional cost that goes on to your loan, basically stealing from you. Was there with a friend and got the price sheet and there was a fee on there for about $1500 that said "freight and reconditioning". In other words I asked the sales rep about this fee and he said everybody charges that, that's a lie! Then I asked him directly "so a car that this dealership buys and fixes your rolling that cost over to the person who buys it" sales rep response was "yes" 😒. Go buy from Casey, they have a better selection and they are not trying to steal from you. I do not work for Casey but I did recently buy a 2019 BMW from them, great and easy process.

Robert Melton and the team at Banister CDJR were great to work with. They were patient, respected me as a customer, and were willing to work with me to get the deal I wanted. I'm very happy with my purchase and overall experience. I would highly recommend this dealer and this team.

April and Darrell were the most professional people to deal with. They walked us through the sales process and we were so happy with the end results. Give them a shot when you need a new vehicle in your stable. We love our new ride. Lindsay Givens and the head service manager are the best also! We had an issue with the headlight and it was fixed and at no additional charge. Best dealership in Hampton Roads. UPDATE !!!! The adjustment to the driver's side headlight assembly was NOT done. After bring the vehicle back to Richmond, the next morning, driving to coffee.....there it was....driver's headlight shining up in the trees. The whole conversation with the head service manager was a sham. HE DID NOTHING to the light. Same ol' song and dance from an automobile dealership that should be putting the customer first.....not happy. BEWARE of this dealership. Do yourself a favor.....make sure you know what you are buying. MY BAD.

I brought my vehicle in for service and Canon made the entire experience smooth and stress free. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain everything plainly without trying to upsell me on stuff I didn’t need. He personally followed up with me twice during the repair nd kept me updated on the timeline, and even coordinated with the techs to make sure everything was done right the first time. My car drives better than it has in years, and no surprises on the final bill!
