I am leaving this review for Barnes Crossing Auto Group because Hyundai of Columbia’s handling of my vehicle was completely unacceptable, and the service manager and dealership did not respond when I tried to resolve the resulting damage directly. I brought my vehicle to Hyundai of Columbia for diagnosis of an ongoing vibration issue. They kept the car for about three weeks and, after all that time, only drove it 8 miles, despite the vibration occurring at highway speeds around 45 mph and 75+ mph. Over those three weeks, the diagnosis kept changing. First it was the wheels, then the tires, then the harmonic balancer. Nothing was consistent, and I was never given a clear or credible explanation. They claimed my tires would not balance and acted like the wheels and tires were the issue. After pickup, I took the car to Hyundai of Murfreesboro, and the same tires balanced correctly without issue. That directly contradicted Hyundai of Columbia’s conclusion after three weeks in possession. Worse, they returned my car damaged. The engine cover was cracked and left completely unattached, bouncing around the engine bay while I was driving. I also later found the lower protective shield / underbody panel left loose and sagging with missing bolts. I dropped off a complete car and got back a damaged one. To make matters worse, they could not provide a proper repair order explaining what had actually been done to my car, despite having it for weeks. I then contacted both the dealership service number and Travis, the service manager, to try to resolve the damage directly and amicably. They ignored me. This was not just poor communication. This was careless handling of a customer’s vehicle, contradictory diagnosis, no meaningful documentation, and damage caused while the car was in their custody. If Barnes Crossing Auto Group stands behind the dealerships it operates, it should address how Hyundai of Columbia handled this. Based on my experience, this dealership wasted weeks, failed to properly diagnose the vehicle, returned it damaged, and then ignored attempts to resolve it. Dylan

Buyer beware! I purchased a brand new Kia Telluride in May of 2024 from a dealership in muscle Shoals, Alabama. As of today, march 29, 2026 it still has less than 7000 miles! My car has been in the shop 3 times, beginning in November 2025, for a total of almost two months, trying to diagnose an electrical problem! It has been in the shop now since March 13 of 2026 and they are still no closer to finding the problem from when I first put it in the shop! Please be clear, I have no complaint with the service department, They have been more than patient and accommodating in an effort to repair this vehicle! However, Kia corporation has to approve any and all repairs before work can be done.… TWO MONTHS later, they still have no definite diagnosis! And in the meantime, I am stuck making payments of almost $1000 a month on a car I cannot drive! This has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience in my 65 years of life! I will spend the rest of my days warning anyone and everyone who will listen of what an inferior product Kia is!! The repair chain of command, and the length of time it takes to get any approval for repairs is absolutely ridiculous! I will never deal with these people again!

I am in the market for a new vehicle, I have been working on my credit for some time now and I am currently in chapter 13. I have a trade, I know I’m upside down in the loan, all the things…. Well I go online and apply for a vehicle at this establishment. Of course the texts come in with the calls, keep in mind I’m at work. So I see I have a vm left from one of the calls, so I listen. Well, apparently you’re beneath the sales reps if you have a bankruptcy, you waste their time. However they need to ask Siri how to spell bankruptcy. Yea make sure you hang up before you disrespect possible buyers. I work at a sales based company and if our sales staff did that, they would be looking for a new job, I’m just saying. I will continue my search that’s for the disrespect

I want to take the time now to offer my heartiest thanks for all the care and attention shown me and my beloved Beetle Convertible. The folks at Barnes Crossing VW have always treated me like family and have taken the best care of my big. I would like to offer particular thanks to Red, the service manager who has always been fair and forthright about any issues. And I would like to thank Tyler who always greets me with a smile and handles all my questions. I cannot say enough positive things about the dealership. Thanks you.

With Darrell Buchanan in Sales and Ozzie in Service I will never go anywhere else. I am a long time customer of BC Hyundai and have always been treated with kindness and respect. Those two are truly the heart of this place!!
