I can’t say enough good things about this place especially my salesman Brandon! He made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process! We all know car shopping can be stressful. I originally decided on a vehicle and was scheduled to pick it up the next day but my anxiety kept telling me it wasn’t the right choice. I felt terrible but knew I had to let Brandon know. He was very understanding and didn’t try pressuring me into anything. I shopped around for almost a month before going to Basil Volkswagen and every other place I went to had to know what I wanted my payment to be before giving me any quotes. Brandon never once asked me that. I appreciated that a lot and wish dealerships would stop doing this. Instead he gave me quotes without any idea of what I was comfortable paying and to me that just seems more honest. I feel like most dealerships take advantage of people when they say they can pay however much per month so even if the payment can be cheaper, they will somehow make the payment either the same or even more than what customers tell them they’d like to pay. Brandon is the kind of salesperson everyone hopes to find when shopping for a vehicle! It was incredibly refreshing to work with someone who understood my anxiety, and gave me the space to make the right choice without any of the typical high-pressure sales tactics. Ken Jones did a phenomenal job of handling a customer all the way from NJ. The reason I came here from NJ is that (at the time of writing) Basil VW only has the ID.Buzz Pro S Plus 4-Motion in Metro Silver. He understood my concerns about the trip and making this one time deal a success. He even went above and beyond by giving me free courtesy ride from Buffalo Airport to their dealership. His communications for closing the deal and understanding the ID.Buzz were clear and concise. All the NJ out of state registration process went smoothly as the registration card and license plates will be sent directly to my address, stress free. I am very proud owner of the ID.Buzz!

It’s been a few weeks since we went in to finally get a nice reliable family car and I still can’t stop thinking about the wonderful experience we had at Basil Volkswagen. Kevin Haines was fast, officiant and so accommodating to our little family. He not only helped us in quite the timely manner, I watched him help other customers without making it feel as though anyone he was working with felt neglected. He was so sweet and playful with our 8 month old we brought with us. He even brought me a killer slice of pizza while we waited. He made sure to help us find exactly what we needed as a family and get us, with our little baby, out as fast and as happy as he could. We will definitely be returning to work with him. This location is truly filled with people who care about their customers and the job they are doing. We can’t wait to come back next year and get a second lease with them!
