“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding experience with Bay Area CJDR! Mike was an amazing salesperson — professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He made everything easy and stress-free. Amanda was also incredibly efficient with the paperwork and kept everything moving smoothly and quickly. The whole team provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend Bay Area CJDR if you’re looking for a great car-buying experience!
This was my 2nd purchase with Bay Area CJDR. They where great to deal with and fast. I bought a used truck as is, I left the dealership in my "new, used truck" and 1 1/2hrs later the passenger mirror was not folding in right ( Which I never checked before leaving) and I called my salesmen and he said bring it in. So Monday I bring the truck in and they said it needs a new mirror and its ordered. Tuesday I get a call that my mirror is in and scheduled me in . Wednesday I go back and 20 minutes later its done. Awesome!!! I was super happy with the total experience with the entire team!
Not what you would expect from a "reputable" dealership that claims they inspect their vehicles. I recently purchased a 2016 subaru impreza with a list price of $10,500. They told me they dropped the price to $8800 to accommodate my finances, and on the day of purchase Amanda the sales manager showed me that apparently they were only making $157 on the deal. I felt like I was taken care of and got a good deal. Then 2 days later I was checking the car and found there was oil seepage into the coolant, an indication of potential engine failure and at the very least a 2000 job. Now I take responsibility that I failed to check the coolant when looking at the car, however this is something that a mechanic who did an inspection should have seen. I mean even the oil changers at Walmart check the coolant. I brought this to the attention of Tiffany, the saleswoman who sold me the car, who referred me back to Amanda to help me. I brought it in and the shop somewhat cleaned the reservoir and apparently flushed to coolant, ( I have my doubts.) I was told to monitor it over the next 500 miles and if I was not happy I could bring it back. The coolant used is supposedly a universal coolant, which upon further investigation can errode the aluminum of the subaru components. During the monitor time I found that the oil kept returning to the radiator and to top it off the horn did not work, which is not only a safety issue, but illegal to sell. After a couple of days I brought the car back in and told Amanda what I had gathered and asked if they would fix any thing. She said they would fix the horn but absolutely would not fix anything else as its a used vehicle and very directly told me that I was being a "google mechanic" and that because she doesn't know about the mechanics of the car she trusts the people who went to school for it to tell her what is wrong, and basically so should I. (These are the same technicians who didnt catch that oil was seeping into the radiator and that the horn didnt work). She then told me that they lost 1700 dollars selling it to me. Which we all know is a lie. No business is going to do that, as well as the fact that that would mean that they purchased the car for 10,500 which they would not have done on a trade in blue booked high end $8200. And that's if they got it from a trade in. It cost less if the got it from auction. When I asked her if she was going to send it to auction she said that they were probably going to fix it and try to sell it for more money than what they could sell it to me for. (Or maybe they are not going to do anything but wash it and put it back on the lot for the next customer) She tried to make it sound like they had helped me out because they knew I was going to start a job the following week with a big commute, and im in a financial bind. It is R.E.A.L. clear they dont care about REAL members of their community.
Just got set up with a a new Durango. HUGE thank you to Tiffany and Amanda for making this the most transparent and pleasant buying experience we’ve ever had. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the market for a new vehicle.
10/10 worst dealership around. I got a 2018 Range Rover evoque from them, was told nothing was wrong, it just sat in the lady’s garage and she wanted to get rid of it because she had too many cars and never drove it. Yet, the car broke down a week later, it took them awhile to get the car into the shop and to get it fixed, after getting my car back the next day the check engine light came back on again and now a few months later the car doesn’t work and I’m stuck paying almost $600 a month for a glorified yard decoration. They also didn’t get the plates for my car because they thought there was plates on the car and when I told them that there wasn’t, I was told that I needed to go buy them at the DMV, yet they gave me temporary plates and charged me for the plates. Place is a total scam. this is the very first vehicle I have ever bought and it was the worst experience of my life. I’d be better off on eBay. The general manager is no help and very unprofessional saying she will do things and never does it or I have to message weeks or months later to ask her to do it again. I asked to get my car into the shop before my child was born and she just insisted we take it somewhere else instead of helping us. I bought the car from you and you should fix it, not pawn it off because it’s too hard and because of that, my car broke down on the side of the road with my 4 day old child inside of it. I called and asked to speak to someone above Amanda, the general manager and they refused to give me the owners number because he wasn’t local. Nothing about my experience has been good and I would recommend going somewhere else. I sure wish that I did.
