I purchased a 2020 Ford Expedition Platinum on May 12, 2026, and what should have been an exciting purchase quickly turned into a stressful and disappointing experience. From the beginning, the experience was not what I expected. When I originally came to the dealership, the salesman seemed very uninterested in helping, came across as annoyed, and was rude during the process. As a customer making a major purchase, I expected to feel welcomed and valued, not like I was an inconvenience. During the test drive, the running boards worked properly. However, the same evening I brought the vehicle home, they stopped functioning correctly. I immediately reported the issue along with other concerns and was told to bring the vehicle back for diagnosis. After waiting all day during my appointment on May 20, I was informed it would cost approximately $1,700 to repair the running boards, an issue that appeared almost immediately after purchase. To make matters worse, my husband and I were under the impression after a handshake agreement that our down payment would be $2,000, only to be told at payment that it was actually $2,500. I was also told I would receive an update by Friday, May 22, or Monday, May 25, and here it is Wednesday, May 27, with no communication at all. Overall, I am extremely unhappy and disappointed with this dealership. Between the poor customer service, lack of communication, unexpected costs, and immediate vehicle issues, this has been a very stressful experience. Instead of enjoying my new vehicle, I have been left frustrated and overwhelmed. I truly expected the dealership to stand behind a vehicle represented as being in excellent condition and provide better customer care.
