Staff members at this dealership are consistently praised for their knowledge, attentiveness, and personalized service during the sales process, with multiple customers highlighting positive interactions with individual salespeople. However, significant concerns emerge regarding service department accountability, trade-in valuations, and follow-up on unresolved vehicle issues, with some customers reporting frustration over lack of resolution and perceived unfair business practices.

Dave Dann and his team are an awesome bunch. They are thorough and know exactly how to get things done fairly and efficiently. With deciding between trims and going through test drives, they not only helped me with selection, but accommodated generously with a dealer swap to get me the exact model, trim, and color I was shopping for. Shout out to Luciano, Justin, and Julio for their hard work and sharing their own personal experiences with Mazdas. It’s amazing to see a brand and shop where the staff enjoy the vehicles they sell and actually drive themselves. Thank you very much!

STAY AWAY! I have been a Mazda customer for over five years, which makes writing this review extremely disappointing. I leased a brand new 2025 CX-70 from Bay Ridge Mazda in October, and since delivery the vehicle has required multiple service visits for recurring issues. The brakes have consistently screeched at the start of nearly every drive. I have also experienced system alerts, fuel gauge irregularities, and keyless lock inconsistencies. Despite bringing the vehicle in twice and driving over an hour each way from Queens, the concerns remain unresolved. Each time, I am told the vehicle is “operating normally” or that conditions such as weather are to blame. However, as a consumer paying over $500+ per month with a significant down payment on a brand new lease, this level of inconvenience and lack of definitive resolution is unacceptable. While the staff has been polite in communication, follow-through and accountability have been lacking. I have been without my vehicle for days at a time and have had to initiate nearly every follow-up myself. A new vehicle should provide peace of mind, not repeated service visits and uncertainty around safety-related features. At this point, I am actively escalating this matter to Mazda corporate and considering additional consumer protection options. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both quality control and customer care processes for future clients. I’ve spoken to nearly 5 different “managers” and not once have any provided any goodwill resolutions. It’s clear that once they make a sale, you’re on your own.

Had a very pleasant experience with Bay Ridge Mazda, Saheida was my sales representative. She was very helpful. Even thought they were very busy, she kept making sure to check in with me. During the test drive she was very easy to talk to, and helped me to make my choice between the Mazda 3 and cx-30. Definitely enjoyed going on a longer test drive, sometimes they can feel rushed or quick but NOT with Saheida.

On June 16th I came in to see the dealer to look at Mazda CX5. I was greeted by a sales person who was very nice patient and knowledgeable. Everything seemed fine. My wife and I were pretty excited of switching into a new car from our 2018 Nissan Rouge. Nissan Rouge is fully loaded with no accidents and no scratches. So tbe sales advisor went to sales manager. This is where things turned. They offered me $8200 for my Rouge when tbe trade in value is close to $14000. This is a slap in tbe face. It shows that the sales manager will abuse and not respect the value of his customers. The lease offer on the CX5 was $629.16. With over $700 due at signing. This sales manager does not value his customers and what he sees is how much money can he rip them off with. This is disgusting. My wife and I work hard for our money. I can't see how this dealer allows this.

I brought my Mazda in for service because my check engine light turned on. Should be a simple job, just had to replace a thermostat in the engine that was faulty. Fast forward about a week, I’m driving the car and my thermostat light is flashing red and my engine is running almost 260 degrees. I’m not sure what they did to my car, but clearly the problem is worse now than it was before! If a local mechanic had not told me that Mazda covered these repairs under an extended warranty, I would not have taken my car to them.
