# Summary The dealership is praised by most customers for friendly, professional staff, smooth purchasing experiences, and willingness to work with buyers on financing and trades, with sales associates and service personnel often highlighted as particularly helpful. However, one customer experienced significant frustration with the service department's inability to diagnose and resolve a complex sound system issue, citing poor communication, lack of proactive updates, and failure to identify a known manufacturer limitation that ultimately required third-party resolution.
I had such a great experience with everyone I interacted with! Jason greeted me as soon as I arrived and was able to get me into my perfect dream vehicle with ease and was great to talk to about any questions I had! Everyone was very friendly and helpful in all the ways you’d want when purchasing a new ride! Highly recommend if you’re wanting a smooth and friendly purchasing process!

Keith Woods spoke w/ me several times on the phone about what my needs where. He worked w/ me at Crossroads Chevrolet dealer so I could purchase the '26 Chevy Equinox RS they had on the lot that filled the needs I was looking for. They were able to work up a deal for me that day and I was able to drive it home that evening. I've also worked w/ Gwen in the parts dept for some accessories. She was very helpful and ordered what I wanted. I'm hoping that the service dept is as helpful and knowledged for when I need service on my Equinox. All n al,l everyone at Crossroads was very professional and courteous. I'm pleased to say' I am a VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER. Keith, thank you for your attention and patience. Keep up the good work and lots of luck & sales in your future. Thanks to all. KEN CADLE
Please read if you value the music and sound quality in your vehicle. Today is the first day I’ve seen my spouse genuinely happy with this truck after finally resolving the sound system issue — without any meaningful help from Chevrolet or GM. The issue was only identified thanks to an independent shop completely unrelated to either party above. We purchased two trucks from this dealership within two days of each other. We had no issues with the 1500, and the salesperson who assisted us was professional and pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, our experience with the 2500 HD and the service department was extremely disappointing. The day we purchased the truck, we noticed the radio repeatedly disconnecting from Google CarPlay, causing the audio to cut in and out. A manager test drove the vehicle and assured us nothing was wrong, suggesting it may have been related to the truck still being in “guest mode” and would resolve once everything was fully set up.Instead, the issue worsened after purchase. The bass would randomly cut out, and at times the sound system became nearly muted. We brought the truck in for diagnostics and were later told they could not determine the issue and would need to open a ticket with GM.From that point forward, communication became a major issue. We were never proactively updated and repeatedly had to contact the dealership ourselves for information. After weeks without progress, we went to the dealership in person and finally received an update the same day. The radio was replaced, yet the issue remained exactly the same. When we requested the original ticket remain open because the problem was unresolved, we discovered it had already been closed as “completed.” A second ticket then had to be opened, and we were asked to return yet again for another diagnostic despite the symptoms being unchanged. We explained we have very limited days off and could not continue repeating the same process without answers or progress. Throughout communication with the service department, the interactions often felt dismissive and unprofessional, giving the impression our concerns were not being taken seriously. Most communication occurred through text rather than phone calls, when texts were even answered. We also contacted GM Customer Care but received no meaningful assistance there either. After months of diagnostics, resets, tickets, and little communication, we contacted an out-of-town shop specializing in automotive sound systems. Within an hour of reviewing photos and a QR code from the truck, they identified the issue: newer Chevrolet trucks have a built-in sound limiter tied to certain trim packages — a concern that has reportedly generated multiple customer complaints. We only discovered this ourselves after months of repeated research and frustration. It was extremely frustrating that an outside shop identified the issue almost immediately after months of unsuccessful dealership visits and GM involvement. We are now paying out of pocket for an override harness and an entirely new sound system to correct the issue ourselves on a brand-new truck. While we truly do love the truck itself, the customer service experience — particularly with the service department — was enough for us to decide not to return to this dealership, including for the maintenance package we purchased. After buying two vehicles in such a short period of time, we expected significantly better support, communication, and transparency. It is concerning that this issue could be identified through basic online research, yet was apparently never recognized or disclosed by the dealership. As customers who repeatedly emphasized how important sound quality was prior to purchase, we expected honesty and transparency from the beginning. Instead of focusing on comments about “giving the truck away at this price,” more attention should have been given to properly addressing and disclosing a known issue. Honest communication would have gone much further with us in this situation.
