Without a doubt one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business, ever! Which is saying a lot since I work with a lot of landscape contractors. I moved from BC to Washington in March and needed to import two things: a 1994 Ford truck and a small wood chipper made in 2020. Bidbuy showed up on my search and got good reviews, so I got in touch with Jayde. He assured me that importing the truck would be easy, but the wood chipper would be more difficult to figure out. Off the bat, he quoted me for services over text. No official documentation sent over email, which should have set off a red flag right away. He had me email all of my relevant documentation in relation to my vehicle and chipper and never once confirmed receipt of my emails. I always had to follow up with him days later. Apparently my 2020 wood chipper presented a bit of a problem that was difficult for Jayde to figure out. He always referenced his "head broker", but never had answers that he figured out himself. Anyways, he tried to tell me that I would have to pay 50% of my chipper's value ($3,300) in duty fees, an absolutely insane amount. But more than that, Jayde had no problem leaving me in the lurch, knowing full well that I was counting on moving in the week March 15-22. If he had just told me straight up that my chipper was too complicated for him to figure out, then you wouldn't be reading this review. Instead, he just left me on read like we had been on a bad date. See attached photos. As a business owner myself, I can't imagine behaving this way. It cost me over a week of my life, and required me to find storage for my chipper in Vancouver and drive back to import in into the USA. I ended up utilizing the help of Border Brokers. The team there was fantastic, and I paid about 10% of the value of the chipper to get it across. They had all my paperwork ready within hours of me providing required documentation and my trip over the border was painless and even pleasant, the border guards stamped by documents and sent me on my way. In short, it sounds like Jayde isn't really the guy to figure out small problems or advocate for you. He just wants your money if you're an easy case.

Bidbuy helped me important my car from Canada. Their team was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. They did all the heavy lifting with the border and I had my car released within a month. For lexus or toyota owners; since toyota has stopped providing letters of compliance, bidbuy was able to help me with the importing process as a registered importer.

I used Bid Buy to import our vehicle into the States during the pandemic. Due to the logistics, you need to fly down and then the car can be imported after you clear customs. Our flight was cancelled for one day, delayed the next, and then ended up arriving after Bid Buy was closed, late one Friday evening. Jayde and Frank were amazing through this process, as they were having to change their schedules to align with our flight arrival. Jayde was always accessible by phone to coordinate the ever changing logistics of the import, and was always accommodating. Frank went out of his way to bring our car across the border late one evening, which made our trip so much easier. I would recommend the Bid Buy team to anyone looking to import your vehicle.
