Julian, the F&I Director, and DJ, the salesman, were incredibly patient with my elderly parents as they bought their new vehicle. They definitely went beyond what they needed to do and it prompted me to write this review. Go buy your next vehicle from these two if you want excellent service.

I recently purchased a 2024 Altima SL Nissan from BILL HOOD Nissan in Hammond. I saw the listing on their website and made an appointment to go in and see it. My salesman was Kyle Brown, who was very thorough in explaining the features of the vehicle and was great to work with!! The Finance team made the purchase very easy and everyone there was very friendly. I really am enjoying my vehicle and I highly recommend BILL HOOD if you are shopping for a new vehicle. Make sure and ask for Kyle!! He was great to work with!!

I purchased my first car from here last week, and everything was absolutely amazing! Albert was my salesman and he was so nice and informative. He and Mike (the manager) worked with my budget and got me in a car! Matt (the finance guy) was also amazing. All around a great experience & I will definitely be back, and recommend them to any and everyone!

Purchased a 2018 Yukon back in late October 2023 that I was told needed at least 5 grand worth of work with no grantee of fixing after I brought it in with concern. When their used car service manager came back after test driving the vehicle after expressing concern about sounds from the engine, he said he BARELY made it back into the parking lot, and that the vehicle needed a whole new engine. Wow. I am very pregnant and have been driving around in this vehicle with my husband and 2 year old, thank God nothing happened to us. Extremely negligent and terrifying that this dealership sold me a vehicle in THAT poor of condition, and would love to know how it passed their alleged “100 point inspection”. Dealership offered to buy back vehicle or put $1k towards a $5k or more job. Unfortunately the warranty that I THOUGHT was included in financing on the Yukon did not exist, so my husband and I would have had to come out of pocket for the $4k balance. The process of going through financing AGAIN and lack communication/deceit has been an absolute nightmare. Also- don’t bother calling Trae their used car manager because you won’t ever hear back. STEER CLEAR from this dealership to avoid purchasing a lemon and going through an absolutely terrible customer experience. I am close to 8 months pregnant and never could have dreamt up going through such an absolute nightmare with NO vehicle that I can call mine yet and another baby coming soon. Cade Pray (taking over all of the Bill Hood locations) I pray you see this review and do everything in your power to rectify this as soon as possible. This experience has caused tremendous amounts of stress and is absolutely repugnant on all levels, all because of Bill Hood Imports’ absolute negligence in selling a customer an UNSAFE and FAULTY vehicle.
