Let me start by saying that this is the first time in 20 years that I found myself & my wife going through the car leasing process as a consumer. I had the fortune to run 9 dealerships over the years and always had easy options or demos. So after spending a week on research and scouting I took my wife out in the rain on a 6 hour, 9 dealership grind to find our next lease vehicle. Being in the industry for so long my expectations were very high…hers was higher. After the first 7 visits she wanted to also see the Lyriq. Best decision of the day as that led us to Blackstone Cadillac. In dealer operations leadership the number one thing you try to teach customer facing team members is to make the greeting memorable. Pouring rain, disinterested sales staffs, and grumpy sales managers all disappeared when Maritza Torres Beltran CHEERFULLY ran to greet us while OPENING THE FRONT DOOR TO THE DEALERSHIP! From there she LISTENED, Asked great questions and quickly brought up the Lyriq and the Optiq for our comparison. During the process she spoke to my wife as the primary buyer which was a refreshing change from everyone else that day. She was professional, confident, well spoken and knew her product. I know how hard it is to find great salespeople so I know that Maritza is a diamond in a field of rocks. Needless to say we leased the Lyriq the next day. Maritza personally delivered the car to our home and signed paperwork with the skill of the best F&I managers. I highly recommend the team at Blackstone Cadillac and plan on a long partnership with them in the future.
