I’m 18 and recently bought a 2003 LB7 Duramax 2500HD with 147k miles for my business, expecting it to be a reliable work truck and a smart way to avoid taking on newer diesel debt. Because I desperately needed a truck that can handle what i do. And also get it payed off and build credit I’ve only had it for about two weeks, and I’ve already run into a serious issue. There is diesel fuel getting into the engine oil, which is thinning the oil and causing a loss of oil pressure. That kind of condition can lead to significant bottom-end engine damage, and I have no way of knowing how long this has been happening before I purchased the truck. Now I’m stuck in a situation where injector replacement alone could cost around $5,000, and there’s still a risk the engine may already be damaged potentially leading to a full replacement that could cost around $15,000. And a bottem end is another $5,000 I bought this truck to build my business and stay financially responsible, but instead I’m dealing with a major mechanical failure almost immediately after purchase. It’s extremely frustrating that the vehicle appears to have been sold without a proper mechanical inspection. At this point, I don’t know what the best path forward is. Update, completely confirmed they did not do any mechanical checks whatsoever it’s screwed… heard they were good and a safe dealership to buy from, obviously not! thanks guys!! ☺️ truck is useless. Also needs a whole front end rebuild

As a traveler we were referred to Blake Hollenbeck for a needed vehicle repair. They got us in the garage right away. Mechanic was excellent at his work and communication. Some parts were overnighter. Mechanic came in early the next day and we were back on the road by 9:30 a.m. During this repair we were given a loaner vehicle to explore the area. I'm impressed with their professionalism, pricing, timeliness, communication, and thoughtful accommodating with loaner.

Our household appreciates older vehicles with higher miles, and Cody and his team consistently go above and beyond whenever we need service. Whether the vehicle is old or new, we trust them completely and will always recommend their shop.

They do a great job at Blake Hollenbeck Auto. We use them for our service needs and we have purchased many vehicles in the past. They are very fair and reasonably priced. Their customer service is great as well. This morning they set me up with a makeshift office space while I waited.🙂 It is the little things that make a difference.

Nice folks, this time the didn't have what we were looking for, but we will check with them the next time we are in the market for a vehicle.
