BMW Laval

⚠️ Attention ⚠️ Attention ⚠️ BMW Laval I purchased a new BMW X3 M50 two months ago. The windshield was hit by a small stone, and on two separate occasions the glass cracked immediately afterward. I suspect there may be a quality issue with the windshield. For anyone considering buying a BMW in the near future, I would strongly recommend purchasing windshield/glass coverage insurance. (Of course, the finance manager will probably be very eager to sell you this product.) Just sharing my experience so others can be aware.

Yesterday I purchased my third car from this dealership (JCW, X6 and an off-brand). Patrick in pre-owned sales is a great person to deal with and an excellent ambassdor for BMW and the dealership. I have also used the service department and found the team there to be very professional. Sylvia managed two deliveries and she was great. I would definitely recommend this dealership and look forward to seeing Patrick next year.

Update #2: Im adding an additional star after my buying experience. I purchased an M4 Competition Cabriolet recently, and the purchasing process was seamless. Very happy with the outcome. ------------------------------------------ Update: Im adding a star because the dealership did contact me to know if I was satisfied with the service, and of course I was honest. They called back apologizing for my experience, and ended up offering a small compensation for my troubles. Which I thought was admirable, and also expected. They could have come up with excuses but they didnt. And I appreciate that. I hope future visits will make me change this to a 5 star rating. ------------------------------------------ I'm hoping to be impressed at some point with the service at this dealership. First visit for routine oil change and mounted tire change took 3 hours. I let it go. Second appointment for the same procedure, it took 2 hours just for my car to get taken into the shop. I was in 20min early. Told it would be about 20min for my car to get taken in. And 2 hours for the actual work. I complained that I can't wait here all day for an oil and tire change. So my service advisor offered a coupon for a rental so I can at least leave the dealership and work properly. Getting my rental car took almost an hour after that! I was told 10-15min. Ive owned a lot of cars and dealt with a lot of dealerships. This is pretty bad. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my service advisor was at least understanding and tried to find a solution other than giving me back my car and rescheduling. I'm writing this review while I wait for my rental since this dealership really wants to take their time.

BMW Laval are the best in the business when it comes to service. I have been a client since 2003 and have never been disappointed. Michel my service advisor is always following up and has always done a great job. Bravo Joe (Service Director) you have a great team.
