# Summary The dealership receives polarized reviews, with most customers praising professional service, personal attention, and long-term satisfaction across sales and maintenance, while one customer reported serious concerns about inflated repair estimates, misrepresentation of vehicle condition, missing parts, and lack of management responsiveness. The contrasting experiences suggest significant inconsistency in how different departments or staff members handle customer interactions and accountability.

YEAH…NO. Our experience with Bob Maxey Ford Lincoln demonstrated a pattern of misrepresentation, misdirection, and poor accountability. The dealership produced a hyper-inflated estimate that effectively totaled our vehicle from what was a minor fender-bender, without speaking with us beforehand or explaining the basis for that determination. The estimate included replacement of undamaged, fully operable parts, including the front windshield and AC condenser. The dealership also stated that the vehicle did not have fog lights, despite their own intake photos and video showing that it did. (See pictures below for damage after the accident and how we were forced to pick up our vehicle to get a second estimate. And minimal parts were returned) Following the inspection, the vehicle was dismantled and not all parts were returned, even after AAA directed the dealership to do so, preventing an independent estimate. Communication throughout the process was inconsistent and incomplete. We escalated these concerns in writing to Sherry Maxey, Managing Director, and received no response. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend this dealership.

Excellent service, always, for each interface and each transaction from purchase to maintenance to car repairs and follow up - for years. Bob Maxey represents what excellent customer service “looks like and feels like for customers” throughout each process. .Thank you.

With a 30+ year career in the Automotive OEM Industry, including time as a District Manager, it makes me grateful to see a local family-owned dealership, demonstrate why they are so different from the big corporate holding companies like Autonation. It's good to see a family-owned dealership embody the principals in the book “Customers for Life” –especially for a dealership representing a prestigious luxury brand. I especially appreciate how Mark Shampine, went out of his way to serve my Aunt and found her a nice, clean, low mileage trade-in a few years ago. The way we treat our Seniors says a lot about the way all the other customers are served at the dealership. And we are all marching down the path to being Seniors who still buy cars. It ii important for us to see people treated with respect regardless of age or economic status. Like any car ownership experience, her Lincoln encountered an issue. At this point it is now 25 years old. I appreciate the way the General Manager, Sherry, spoke with me to help find a solution. Having the general Manager take an interest in resolving a service issue was meaningful. The big conglomerate dealer groups treat customers like an Excel spreadsheet entry. It is a testament to the quality and reliability of Lincoln products, that her 25 year old car still gets her where she needs to go with no issues. Best wishes for a prosperous 2026 for all of us, from the Motor City Mad Man.

Everyone was professional and informative. The transaction went smoothly and I am completely satisfied with the vehicle. I would recommend my salesperson, Dylan Jackson, to anyone looking for a vehicle.

CJ and his team promised and they delivered. We are extremely satisfied with CJs commitment to customer service and both he and the Bob Maxey team provided an excellent customer experience. CJ went above and beyond and we are very pleased.
