Recently passing by Waynesburg on the highway when our steering went stiff, voltage dropped and engine overheated. Pulled over, checked under the hood and didn't see anything obvious. Waited for the engine to cool down. Restarted and managed to exit and drive to a nearby gas station. On closer inspection, the serpentine belt had come off and disappeared. Bought a new one at a local auto parts store, installed it, started up and heard unfriendly noises. Immediately stopped the engine. On further inspection, saw ball bearing on the ground and a metal remnant. Determined that idler pulley was shot. By this time, all local mechanics shops were closed. In the morning, across from where the car was parked, visited a shop to see if they could repair the problem. Let's just say, wasn't impressed with the facilty. That lead me to call Bortz. Explained the problem but the lady I spoke with said they were all booked for the day but could come in and wait and see if we could be taken in. Did so. Soon after the car was in the shop. Although quoted 2 hours of work, ended up being 3; fair enough, unlike the first facility I visited. In summary, had a great experience with Bortz, and we were soon back on the road home to Canada. Thank you.

Found a 2022 Camaro 1SS 1LE that was in transit coming in. I called up and we made a deal over the phone with Jonathan. After all the delays GM did when the car arrived I went and picked it up. No markups, also honored a factory rebate for healthcare workers. So I actually got it for a little under MSRP. Everything went super smooth. Very happy with my experiance

In response to the false reply from Bortz, I was not calling around to see who would illegally pass my inspection. I was calling around to see who I could schedule the soonest appointment with another bussiness due to poor experience at Bortz. When I called back, it was because I was not able to schedule with PW Auto until 2 days. So I called back, regrettably, and asked if they do "Remove tint" in hopes I could actually get it removed sooner than Friday In Order to Pass Inspection. I've been a regular customer at Bortz Chevy Waynesburg since I've owned a Chevy, year 2013. I've experienced the front desk lady being increasingly rude after each visit. Recently, I asked if they ever pass inspections with tint on windows. She said sometimes. I said I would like to know if my car has a chance of passing at all before driving 45 minutes to fail. She immediately said, "I would fail you". I expressed my confusion and asked, "But what would it take to pass? Thia is the first car I've had with tint, help me understand." She sounded bothered in doing this, so I said how clear it was she wanted me to take my business elsewhere, then she agreed to look at my car prior to inspection. I thanked her for scheduling me in to look at my car first before starting the inspection. I drove 45 minutes in the rain with my 3 year old on a one lane road to greene county behind cars going 20mph on a 40mph speed limit. I arrived between 1:03-1:08PM for my 1:00PM appointment. Before my 3 year old and I were .5 inch through the door, she barges out the door, snaps, "Where's your car? I didn't think you would show up." I explained the rain and traffic. Unsurprisingly, she told me I wouldnt pass with my current tint job. I called the next day to see if it was possible to have the tint removed to the legal line. I don't think I was able to finish my question without her loud, short response, "No we do not." I said, "Thank you, have a good day" and she hangs up without a word. The guys that do the work, I had no issues. Theyve always been kind. But my poor experience with the front desk woman that has progressively gotten worse over the years has turned my business back to PW Auto, Chevy or not. Just to be spoken to in a kind, respectful manner. Especially infront of my 3 year old.

Fast a friendly service from the sales rep all the way to the finance department treated like family got me in and on my way with my new ride I highly recommend Bortz chevrolet in waynesburg pa for your automotive needs they will be glad to put you in a wonderful ride thanks guys

This was hands down the absolute best car buying experience of my life. No pressure sales, direct answers to questions, and real honesty. We will definitely use them again. This is the way car buying should be. Most car lots want to hold you hostage and just talk in terms of payments, this is not how Bortz operates for sure.
