Bridgewater Kia

I bought a 2024 Kia telluride from Bridgewater Kia. I wanted a specific colour and interior, so I ordered it in. It took 6 months and still couldn’t get my car, no fault of the dealership, they were in high demand and low supply. I ended up finding the exterior colour that I wanted but a different colour interior in Dartmouth Kia. When I inquired about the car in Dartmouth, they told me that it was being shipped to Bridgewater Kia. I was very surprised to hear that the car I was waiting for 6 months was being shipped to Bridgewater Kia and I was not informed. After calling Bridgewater, I was told that the owners wife had ordered the car and was going to her. After some conversations, they ended up giving me the car and I was happy that they made that decision. Although I shouldn’t have had to inquired about it, first rights on the car should have been mine. Then I went to order a trailer hitch and this is where it gets interesting. They order the hitch and tell me that it is in and to come down to get it put on. I asked them multiple times to ensure that all parts have been received, as I was driving from Halifax to bridgewater, and they ensured me that they all arrived. I drop my car off at bridgewater kia to get the hitch installed, and after 3 hours, I drive my the Kia dealership and my car is sitting in the parking lot. I pull up and there is no hitch on my car. When I go inside to inquire, they said that they didn’t have all the parts. I walked around bridgewater for 3 hours and the parts department didn’t even have the decency to call me and tell me that they screwed up and that they didn’t have my parts. They end up making it right by coming to Halifax to pick up my car, install the snitch and return my car. Now that the hitch is installed, the wiring connection was not sealed properly, and water is getting inside and corroding the connections. It is a huge safety issue. When I took my car into Halifax Kia for an oil change, they were extremely surprised the amount of corrosion, and told me that in no way should it be like that. Halifax Kia said that bridgewater kia should replace the part, even though it is over the year, because the corrosion is clearly from day one. I sent photos to bridgewater kia and I got no response after 2 weeks. I called today and they said that because it is over 1 year, they will not do anything for me. I hate to see a small business like Kia Bridgewater treat their customers so poorly. I specifically bought the car through bridgewater to support a small business, which seems like the worst mistake I ever made. I am extremely disappointed with the parts department at Kia Bridgewater. They may be ok at the basics of changing oil, but anything on top of that is asking too much. Also very disappointed with the ownership, as this is no way to treat customers.

The service department is the best ! We had a major issue needing an engine replacement and the team at Kia assured me they would take care of it. They not only had my engine replaced under warranty they were 2 weeks ahead of schedule getting it done! Thank you Forbes Kia we appreciate your amazing service!

I've been turned off from dealerships in the past, but Forbes' staff are so welcoming and friendly. I was very nervous buying a car and they didn't make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. Thank you for all the help. :)

Best dealership in town. Best people to work with. Dawn gave me a great deal on a used vehicle, better deal than I would have gotten anywhere in the province for the quality of vehicle. Even though it’s 5 years old it smells like a brand new car thanks to head detailer, Tony. All my needs were met and all my desires taken into consideration.
