# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews reflecting stark contrasts in customer experiences across different departments. While sales staff are consistently praised for professionalism, attentiveness, and honest service, customers report significant issues with the service department and management, including unresponsive staff, unresolved vehicle problems, poor communication, and unprofessional handling of post-sale matters.

Bought my car less than a week ago. Comes up with a completely flat right front tire today as i drive out of hospital ER garage.. Looks like a structural defect- huge gaping opening with cracking on each side of gash on the sidewall. Important to note that it has Pirellis and Pirellis have a history of sidewall manufacturer defects leading to recalls.I didn't hit anything, which you can see from the tires and perfectly fine rims. Service department denies it is a manufacturer defect issue, the owner won't call me, and they say someone must have slashed my tire. To back up the story, they sent photos of tiny scratches that none of the folks in the car or the tow truck driver noticed at pick up. It was raining, so i can't swear on anyone's life that they weren't there, I am just saying no one noticed them. Plus, i have the fancy dashcam and it is set to record and alert for incidents when car is parked. No alert when i turned car on. (It did alert me when my husband brushed against car in the driveway and when neighborhood cat ran under car, so it is operational). Pics of tire that I took and of the images of tiny scratches they took and sent to me below. If someone cut that tire, they would need a Crocodile Dundee knife (actually a box knife with significant force would work according to google) and those scratches look like they were made with something much smaller than even a box knife, but they are sticking to that story. The car's dashcam was on and set to record anyone touching car when parked. Showed no incidents. Garage at the ER where I was parked is reviewing all footage to verify no one touched the car. So, my experience is that sales is great, but service sucks. Here are the images. Y'all can judge whether something that made those little pinprick scratches could make an at least 3 inch gash in a sidewall AND cause cracking along the same lines to both sides of the gash. Doesn't look like any images i find of slashed tires. Looks exactly like images of tires failing along the radial belts. So, judge for yourself. I will be taking tire to an independent party for assessment, as well and will update.

For the record, I was not asked to leave this review, but rather took the proactive initiative to share my experience at this dealership. My salesman was Derrick H. and he is such a rare talent. I am not an impulsive buyer and visited this dealership with plans on just getting prices and test driving vehicles of interest. Derrick has a way of carefully listening to the wants and needs of the customer aligning those expectations to a point where you feel comfortable making a decision. It's not often to receive this level of satisfaction and support nowadays as everyone is only looking to sell you something and make money. Derrick made it about the experience and gave 5 star red carpet service! Respect goes a long way and that has definitely been earned. Anyone I know or hear about needing or wanting a vehicle, I'll be sure to send them his way! Thanks again for the experience Derrick! You are truly one of a kind! UPDATE: The "owner", Mason, is VERY unprofessional. A car was purchased from this dealership last Wednesday..CASH. The finance guy takes the money, we sign all necessary paperwork, then he tells me he's going to send the title AFTER the car gets registered. This is an out of state deal so I make sure to mention what state it is going to so that we could abide by the state laws. I was advised to register the car within 30 days to avoid a lien on the car. I make sure to let him know that everything would be taken care of THIS WEEK. Two days later the car is at the DMV for the state it should be registered in and the agent tells me she can't register the car without the title. I call the dealership and advise them that I can't do anything until I get the title. The manager, Herman, tells me that it's the end of the month and sales are being calculated but he is going to make sure he gets the title out and would call me. I never received a call so I called back. He tells me someone is out who deals with the titles. I patiently wait for a callback as this is an urgent matter. No call back! I call the next day and he tells me after a few call ins that he found it and would ship it out Monday (it's Saturday). Based on the lack of communication, I decided to call Tuesday to confirm the title was overnighted as promised. This did not happen as the manager could not be found. I was advised that the manager on site is new and knows nothing. I was asked to wait until Wednesday to speak to Herman. Wednesday comes, guess what? Herman isn't available. I then start talking to Mason, who says he's the owner of the company. He puts me on hold for 8-9 mins to research then comes back to the phone and tells me "the funds cleared and the title is here and will be sent to the address on file" I then advise him that CASH was paid for the vehicle so I'm not sure what he's talking about in regards to a clearing. I then ask him about overnighting title as promised by Herman and also because of the issue that was caused by the dealership (as the title should have been sent with the car when it was PAID IN FULL). This guy tells me he's not going to do something just because I want it done. I tell him it's not because I want it done it's because it was PROMISED. He then tells me that if I want it overnighted I need to pay for it. I tell him to take it out of the overage as I will receive a refund. He tried to then put me on hold AGAIN but before he gets off he tells me I'm being very rude. I did not say one thing that was unprofessional or rude (as he did) but did ask a series of questions. I've never encountered such behavior towards a customer when the transaction is already completed! This is in no way a reflection of Derrick H. and the support from management is beyond trash. Each time I call and ask for the manager I get a voicemail, doesn't matter what time of day. How do you operate a business without management on site? This should have been a two minute call and a follow up to ensure all is well with the purchase. Mason needs training on how to treat customers! I HIGHLY recommend NOT doing business with this guy!

I been looking for a Ioniq 6 for the past 5 months and Alex Llamas text me and email me to see when I can look up the car. Same day I looked up and test drive I got the Keys in my hand so fully recommended it. Alex Llamas thank you for your on front and honest customer service, he didn’t hide anything and he always was honest and that’s how I like to do business as well. And he is Bilingual so English/Spanish sales are the best!!

⭐ 1 Star – Poor Service Experiences I’m writing this while sitting in the service lane at Brookshire Hyundai. I’ve been here for about 45 minutes waiting in the service line, and no one has approached my vehicle, acknowledged me, or asked what I needed. I came here to either schedule an appointment or have my vehicle looked at, but the lack of basic customer service has been disappointing. This is actually my second negative experience here. The first time I came in for service on my 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT, I was recommended an engine valve replacement and cleaning. Unfortunately, the issue I brought the vehicle in for remains, so I came back today hoping to get it addressed. Instead, I’ve spent nearly an hour sitting in the service lane, with no one checking on customers. The only reason I came to Brookshire Hyundai in the first place is that it’s closer to my house. Unfortunately, I’ve regretted it both times. For anyone looking for Hyundai service in the area, I strongly recommend West Park Hyundai. I’ve always received great service, clear communication, and transparency from their team. At this point, I’m going to cut my losses and count them as a lesson learned. I won’t be returning here for service. (FTR 😏 I wrote this with ChatGPT; however, it pretty much captures my sentiment.)

This past Monday I started my search for my son’s first car. Fortunately, it ended almost as quickly as it started. My plan was to go up and down I10 and stop at the dozens of dealerships to see what they had on their lot. My very first stop was Brookshire Hyundai. I had a list of reasonably priced cars I had seen on their website. I was almost immediately approached by Antonio. I told him what I was “just looking” for, and gave him my budget. He showed me every car I had on my list, and then suggested I look at a few others - which included the one I ended up buying. It was clean, low miles, 1 owner, clean carfax - it was perfect! My son is very tall so I wasn’t ready to buy on the spot (I had to make sure he would fit in the car). Antonio, and his manager (German), accommodated my needs and 6 hours after first seeing the car, I was driving it home! (That 6 hours total, with me leaving and coming back hours later!!! I probably only spent a combined two hours at the dealership from start to finish - maybe even less. It was a great price, they didn’t jerk me around, the finance guy was great - the receptionist was great. Every employee I encountered there was great! Antonio was the best though! Even after I told him I was just looking, he sat in all those HOT cars until we found the right one!!!!! Without pressuring me!!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! (And my son LOVES his car!)
