Don't judge a book by it's cover. I had a plumbing emergency and Celia helped me when the two other males didn't know what worked. I am so grateful for the knowledge and personalized service this store has to offer I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's local, reasonable and the employees know what to do ! Smallish hardware store with biggish customer-oriented staff. Always helpful & friendly. There is an adjoining used-car lot owned by the same folks and it is excellent (Full-disclosure: I have bought several used cars here over the years.)

Friendly affordable family-run hardware store. They stock an amazing variety of hardware goods and other household items — they even have a pet supply section. It’s always our go to store for hardware etc.

Have bought everything from cars to horse feed and beyond. Will, Michael, Tracy and Melissa (especially Melissa’s daughter) are all awesome. They especially love my Australian Shepherd who is a fixture with me and knows where the biscuits are behind the counter.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for a used car. The staff is friendly, helpful and responsive- the type of hometown, mom and pop service that is becoming increasingly less common. Reputations have a way of spreading in small towns, so it is little wonder that Brookside Auto seems to get busier every year.
