# Summary The dealership receives praise from loyal customers for competitive pricing, courteous service, and efficient repairs, though some patrons report frustration with communication failures and service department practices such as upselling and lack of customer accommodations. Experiences range from highly satisfied repeat buyers to those disappointed by miscommunications regarding vehicle availability and concerns about service quality and alignment issues.
Very disappointed with our experience. On Sunday, we contacted the dealership through Facebook about a truck we were interested in. We were told we could come look at it Monday morning at 8:00 AM. Based on that information, my husband and his brother both took off work and we made the nearly 4-hour drive to the dealership. When we arrived Monday morning, we were told the truck had actually been sold on Saturday. The salesperson stated that he had messaged the manager to let him know we would be coming and that the manager acknowledged the message. We were then told the buyer had completed paperwork and was waiting on bank approval. When we asked if there was documentation showing the truck was under contract, none was provided to us. The dealership did give us $300 for our travel expenses, which we appreciate. However, that does not make up for the lost wages, time off work, and nearly 8 hours of driving round-trip. This situation could have been avoided with better communication within the dealership. When customers are traveling several hours to purchase a vehicle, accurate information is extremely important. Being told a vehicle is available, only to arrive and find out it was supposedly sold days earlier, is frustrating and a major inconvenience. The dealership needs better communication between management and sales staff to prevent this from happening to future customers. I wouldn’t even waste your time.
I think we are on vehicle 20 we have purchased for our business and personal. This place is the most hidden gem out there. This is a one-stop shop. They have the lowest prices that I have found, awesome customer service, and by far, the team at Brown Dodge are the nicest and most courteous people around. This is the most laid-back no pressure dealership. Mr Brown, Andy, and Elliot, thank you for the years of continuous customer service you and your team have provided. I am looking forward to many more purchases.
I have a Ram 3500 that I use for my business everyday. It was having ABS issues and it was disabling my 4wd. I feared dropping it off anywhere and have it just sitting for days. Thankfully the team at Brown were able to schedule a day that worked for my schedule and quickly diagnosed the problem. They were able to replace the faulty part under warranty and have me back on the road in just over an hour. Truly impressed with their service. Even though they are a little further out for me, it was worth the trip and very grateful to have my truck back to 100%.
I recently brought my car in for service. I drive a higher trim level Dodge Charger that attracts attention - not always a good thing. Anyway. I came in for an airbag warranty and left with a misaligned wheel setup. When I rolled in the shop the car drove straight as an arrow. When I left, on my drive home I noticed the car kept veering to the left and the steering was heavy and I had to correct the car to the right to drive straight. I knew the car wasn’t misaligned when I brought it in and was up sold on an alignment with their “laser technology” at the opening of their bay doors. I know I was bringing the car in for warranty work and the dealership wasn’t going to make money on the service. I was upsold by Steve upon arrival and was resistant to getting the extra service done. But I thought on the off chance I need an alignment let me do it while I’m here. Big mistake…I should have known better when I was setting up my appointment and was told that I won’t get a loaner because I haven’t purchased my car from Browns. I was not offered a ride service back to my home and had to purchase my own uber. If I didn’t have another car to get me to and from where I was going what would my options have been? So not only did it cost me $200 to misalign my car but it cost me another $60 just to get home. Browns could have chose to do the right thing by me the first time and have a repeat service customer, but opted to try and make some money off of me. This is a bad representation of the Dogge brand. Smiling faces to get you in the door and less than satisfactory results on top of not caring about the client base and extracting value out of your customers. I hope the owner sees this and decides to rethink their policies. I am very dissatisfied with the service I received at Browns and will be bringing my car elsewhere to fix the alignment. Further tires aren’t cheap. I have Michelins pilot sport tires ($500 each) so now I have tires that aren’t tracking correctly and are not wearing evenly- sounds like a safety hazard to me thanks to my friends at Browns.
I recently bought a used car from Andy and i was pleased with the whole process, all i had to do is show sign and drive. Need to also mention FRED he saved me some .
