# Summary The facility is praised for exceptional paint and body work quality, professional staff communication, and thorough final inspections that leave vehicles looking restored. However, experiences vary regarding cost management, parts availability delays, and attention to detail during the repair process, with some customers noting unexpected price increases and missed damage areas.
Great experience working with Bill Rodabaugh for body repair to the rear of my 2024 Mazda SUV. The estimate was reasonable and they partnered well with my insurance company. My insurance-provided rental was right next door at Enterprise, which was very convenient. They provided regular status updates, and vehicle was repaired in the timelines they provided. Best of all, at the end, my vehicle looked just as good as new! Would highly recommend.
I have a less than 1 year old 2021 Mazda 3 Turbo, I bought from Budd baer. See Patrick if you're looking for a Mazda BTW, great experience. But anyway I had an 18 wheeler kindly give some of it's retread to the front of my car over the winter, which required some body work. Cracked bumper and some scratches nothing major. I've had mixed results from other body shops in the area so I tried Bud Baer collision since I bought the car there. First the good stuff 1. The actual Paint and body work is absolutely outstanding, 10/10. I'm very happy with that. 2. The detail work they did before I got it back was an nice touch and was well done. It's downhill from there..... 1. They tried to communicate well and I was kept in the loop but they kind of failed on the details. I was having them do some extra work on top of the insurance repairs. I said you can do any chip repairs and dent pulling from a recent hailstorm but keep the out the door price under 1000, well some how that ballooned to 1700 when all said and done. There was some other stuff that came up later so I was expecting 1300 but not 1700... a little annoyed. 2. Due to covid, many parts are back ordered for many different brands of car. This means my car sat in pieces for a month before I took the situation into my own hands and found the parts needed at another dealer. Then had the parts shipped to Bud Baer collision. I had to pay full retail for the parts, the difference from whole sale to retail is where the $300 extra was coming from I expected. Also why we couldn't have talked about this to the insurance company I don't completely understand. Also why I had to push for this and find the parts is perplexing. When I ask is there anything we can do to the customer service guy and he says "no we just have to wait and see". Then with some Google Fu, and 2 phone calls I get the situation figured out, there's no excuse in my book. They have to be piling up half finished cars at this rate. 3. Possibly the most annoying, I paid ALOT of extra money and they had the car for plenty of time. But they missed damage from the retread hitting the car that I explicitly said was there... So I was under my car over the weekend replacing some plastic nuts that hold the under body aero shields in place as well as gluing a section that cracked so I don't get a whistling sound. Super annoyed there too... Overall my experience was a mixed bag. The paint and body guy should get a raise and promotion, but the rest are lacking.... I'm sure some of this is due to the COVID hangover every business is dealing with, but some need ls to be fixed.
My car needed body repair after being hit while stopped at a light. I had not one clue who to trust. But a friend recommended Budd Baer along with my insurance company. It was an absolutely great decision. They kept me up to date frequently and the repairs were completed when promised. Picking it up was a delight. They walked me around the car allowing me to inspect every single detail. The repairs were perfect and the car was shining - both inside and out! I literally could not be happier with the results. Great job Budd Baer!
I had repairs done after a hit and run on my car that I had only had for one day. Although it took over 3 months for my car to be fixed (back ordered parts), I knew it would be fixed right so the wait was worth it. My service guy Larry was amazing at keeping me updated throughout the entire process and the front desk lady was amazing. All the staff here is very professional and courteous and very nice. I won’t take my vehicles anywhere else for any body work.
Thank you so much for the wonderful job. From the day we came in with our Jeep Bill helped to get the process started. Your whole staff was awesome. The updates were amazing. Aric did a fantastic job. Your receptionist was so kind. The young man that checked us out was very nice. I would give your Collision center a 5 Star rating. Thank you Ralph and Sylvia Harris
