Avoid this service department at all cost.Javier is by far the most shady, dishonest service writer I've ever had to work with.This company cost me over $2000 in towing cost after they had "repaired" my vehicle for $1100. My family and I were stranded on the side of the road for 4 hours because Javier thinks that rather than telling a customer something could be wrong with their ignition he decided to not let us know because he was "trying to be conscious of our pocketbook". The job of a service writer is to communicate to the customer EVERYTHING the technician says could be a problem. It's not this companies business to decide what I should spend my money on.VERY VERY Dishonest establishment.

Javier is the WORST “receptionist”, That man lacks the skills required to simply answer phones and schedule appts and after reading these reviews, I am unsure how he even has a job. He has made our experience in the service department absolutely miserable and is about as honest as a 3 year old who swears they didn’t get into the cookie jar. Don’t trust that man. Dwayne (I can’t remember if that is his true name so I apologize)and Ryan are the only gentleman worth going to this location for. I appreciate the actual mechanics who are knowledge and helpful. However, I would not recommend based on the treatment and dishonesty.

I would like give a sincere complement and a word of appreciation to Javier Garcia at Urness motors in the Dalles Or. He goes out of his way to give great customer service. If you have problems with your truck and it breaks down you should probably go find a better shop to take your truck or car to because this shop is bad place to have work done on your vehicle.. me and my wife took our RAM 2500there to get work done on it.and that was the 4th of December and it is still there And they have not even started any kind of work on it.they had a warranty inspection done and now they don't want to do the work on it and they even wrote the inspection report up wrong and now our warranty insurance wants to void our warranty on the truck because the mechanic that supposedly done the inspection said it looks like the truck was wrecked and they said we put the lift on the truck and we bought and paid the truck off from the lot and the truck was already lifted.and we have everything on the truck and what the lot did to the truck.they don't call you back to let you know what is going on with your vehicle they don't even answer their phone's they're totally not perfeshional at all they have no respect for the customer or their vehicle . my truck was in limp mode and had to be towed in on a flat bed and it is still setting in the lot and hasn't even been touched.so now I am going to have to call another tow truck to have it taken to anther shop to get my truck done .in my opinion I think this shop should be shut down. There's no respect for the customer of any kind no consideration at all tword the customer or their vehicle all n all this is a very bad shop to take your vehicle to .they over charge for everything weather you buy the parts or not and most of the staff are rude with attitudes . like owell it's not our problem.. And that's not perfectional At all . So if you love your truck like I do then this isn't a place I would take my truck ever again . They are like the worst.

Got into a tough situation with my 2015 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel dying the final death over New Years far from home. The shop quote for repairs would have broken me. Dave stepped up, found me 2017 Jeep GC, worked out a price I could afford and got me back on the road. He exemplified the "just make it happen" attitude for me. If you are looking for a truck, DO NOT buy an EcoDiesel (or at least make sure to get a warrantee)! If you are looking to buy a car at CH Urness, DO ask for Dave!
