I was helping my grandson purchase a Chevy Silverado and found the one we ended up purchasing on Cars.com. I worked with Max Wemberley and can’t say enough about how great the experience was. He took the time to go over all the features with my grandson and he really knew his stuff! Everyone we dealt with was awesome! I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from them.

The entire staff is absolutely amazing. Max definitely made things happen and put me into a car I am proud to drive. 10/10 do recommend. The service team is always friendly and gets things done quickly.

Buying experience was great, found the truck i was looking for, after that i have nothing better to say. they put new tires on when i bought the truck but they cambered the front two in and then after i had my truck in for two oil changes, on the second oil change they told me i needed new tires. how could i need new tires after 15,000 miles when they were brand new? the chords were showing. the wear should’ve been noticed when they had done inspection during the first service/oil change. when i called my salesman, Derek Green, he had me bring my truck by and they originally wanted me to pay over $600 to replace just those two. after arguing with them, the best they could do for me after their screw up, was cover half the cost. they then put on my tires wrong when i had them replaced so then i had to leave my truck again with them for another additional day for them to put them on correctly. now, i’ve had other issues and i’ve contacted wimberly and reached out to Derek directly several times and im told when speaking to anyone else there that i need to speak with my salesman and when i reach out to him i can never get an answer. i’ve not received any answer or any assistance from anyone let alone Derek. it’s to the point ive had to have my mom reach out to them to even be able to get any sort of answers for general questions. Chris (not sure of last name) has been then only person to give any sort of assistance and that was to my mom. my family over the YEARS have purchased vehicles from wimberly and never had any issues. this is the first “new” to me vehicle i’ve purchased for myself after my car got totaled and this truck was what i wanted for so long and this experience has ruined the love i had for this truck. i will NEVER go back to wimberly for a vehicle or service ever again. they do not care about customers, maybe some of them do so i dont want to loop all of them into that but the people i have spoken with haven’t even attempted to help me other than “you’ll have to talk to your salesman” “he isn’t here” “he’s unavailable” “we’ll have him call you back” and i can’t even get the courtesy of a text back when i text him to please call me when he has a moment.

Glen Olsen was fabulous helping us choose a new vehicle. He was available for all our questions even after the vehicle was purchased. It was a great buying experience.

I have spent the last two days thinking about the way my parents were treated at C. Wimberly and honestly, it was appalling. Since my parents are almost 70 years old, they aren't particularly technologically savvy and have no idea how to leave a review, so that's where I come in. We feel that people should know what they could be walking if they choose to purchase a new vehicle from this business. About a week ago they started looking for a new truck for my dad. He is the type that does his research for months before hand and figures out exactly what he wants before he goes into a dealership. He also chooses three of the highest rated dealerships in the area and sees what deals are available through them before he purchases his vehicle. When they went in the first time, he informed the salesman Derek Green what he was looking for and asked him to let him know if he found a truck that matched his preferences. He received a call a few days later telling him that a truck with the specifications had been found. On Saturday my parents went in to see the specs on the truck and some of the things my dad wanted were missing. No big deal, it isn't like he is in any hurry; his current truck works great; it is just time to upgrade. He asked about pricing and said that for the same truck with the same specs another local dealership had a special that took the truck price down a couple of grand which isn't much when you are looking at a $60,000+ cost, but in this day and age every little bit helps. At that point Derek stood up, shook my dad's hand and told him to go to the other local dealership. He then opened his office door and stood there at the door, letting them know that they were no longer welcome in his office or business. They were so stunned they didn't even know what to say, so they got up, walked out and left. They had other places they were going to go that day, (it was Valentines Day) so they had a couple of other fun activities planned but were so upset by what had transpired that they just went on home. It ruined their day. They called me when they arrived home and told me what had just happened and I was blown away. As an individual who has been in retail management for over twenty years specifically dealing in commissioned sales, I was taken aback. I, nor any of my salespersons would ever treat a customer like that. If they did, they would no longer be employed by me or my company. I told them that perhaps on Monday they should try to get ahold of management to make them aware and they told me that Mr. Wimberly was present that day and had to have heard everything since their showroom is pretty small, and he was less than a few feet away when this took place. I would also like to say they are not looking for anyone to try to make it right, to get them a better deal or anything; they just wanted for people to know in hopes they prevent someone from this same, humiliating experience.
