LIES! NOT TRUSTWORTHY!! Be Warned!! They will lie to your face! Don't do business here. They have shady business practices. They got a bolt in my tire while being repaired then said I brought it in like that. I proved them wrong with the onboard computer showing the day of the tire pressure loss (and the GPS it l that it was clearly on their premise during their possession of the vehicle. Once they were caught they said they would patch it "take it or leave it" I asked for my tire replaced and he said "good luck". Do you want to be part of this kind of business? My car was left worse than I brought it in. Be careful. Look at where the patch is as well. On the edge of the side wall. That's the best they would do. Just unsafe and selfish. So I spent 1500$ in this repair shop to have you do my work. Then you break my 1500$ tires and gaslight me about it. I bought my car from this company!! I expected loyalty and care. Maintenance usually involves receiving something back better than when you brought it in. They couldn't accomplish that here. Do your business somewhere else unless you want lies.

I’m writing this review more than one year after my service cause I just realized that ever since I took my Jeep in my car has actually been running better than when I bought it. Part of that is due to the fact that I bought a lemon off the lot, but I am grateful to Cal Coast for making my Jeep run better than new after seven years of owning it. Jack was my service rep. Thanks for the service.

PREDATORY PRACTICES AT THIS SHOP! DO NOT GO HERE! Had an appointment to get my brakes done here. Dropped off my car at 9am and said it would be done at 2pm. At 1:30pm they tell me the wheel bearings need to be replaced and they won't put the new brakes on without fixing it first. Jack made a huge deal about it saying it's unsafe to drive. I got a second opinion and that wheel bearing repair doesn't happen often. Seemed suspicious. If it was such a huge issue why would it take them 4.5 hrs to tell me? And right before the deadline to order the parts to get it done by tomorrow? AND only letting me know 30 minutes before my pickup time? It only added $1300 more to my bill so no big deal right? Lol When I declined he tried to charge me a diagnostic fee of $245 which I didn't sign off on. Showed him the brake invoice which I agreed to that said nothing about a diagnostic fee. He frantically tried to get me to do the original brake repair WHICH THEY HADNT DONE AT ALL to get $800 out of me. When I declined he got upset, threw my keys at me, and I left the shop. He's more upset that he didn't pull a fast one over me and his true colors were revealed. Negative 5 stars do not come here.

I sourced the necessary parts but quickly realized the repair was beyond my capabilities due to the alternator's attachment. He arranged for a technician to work after hours, ensuring my Jeep was repaired that same day. I was incredibly impressed by their exceptional customer service, willingness to accommodate my urgent need, and the competitive pricing for the unexpected repair. I highly recommend California Coast Auto Repair for their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Took my 2020 BMW 530i w/ 42,000 miles in for an oil service on 11/21, to this location. I wanted a good, safe & affordable alternative to the BMW dealership and bringing my car to California Coast Auto Repair was the result. One look at the website had me convinced this was a great choice. I was met by Jack at the location after making my own appointment online. So easy. Jack was super nice and a pleasure to work with. The pricing was great and they went above and beyond in service with a minor repair they did. Cannot wait to go back again for more services. This is my new auto dealership service center for sure. Be careful of buying a nice gently used Tesla when you go to this place. They have a huge selection on the lot ready for purchase. They seem to have every model and configuration you could possibly want. Not to mention they had a couple of brand new BMW 4 series in the showroom/ waiting room. And the waiting room was a total blast with complimentary soda, water, ice cream bars and snacks too, while you wait a short period of time for your car to be serviced.
