# Summary The dealership receives mixed feedback, with some customers praising individual salespeople like Cale and Tre for their attentiveness, lack of pressure, and willingness to work within budgets, while others report serious issues including vehicles sold with inadequate fluids, defective systems not covered under warranty, and poor communication about vehicle availability. These contrasting experiences suggest inconsistent quality in both pre-sale transparency and post-sale customer service.
sold me a car with no fluids (except brake fluid) & proceeded to insinuate that I was lying about it. note the difference in oil grade. Edits & Additions: The extra papers are from inside the cabin air filter. "I appreciate you sharing your experience, Xnovablud. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you faced with the vehicle and the concerns regarding the fluids. Your feedback is important, and I understand how frustrating this situation must be. Please feel free to reach out via text or call so we can discuss this further and work towards a resolution." I told the person who sold me the car and he said there was nothing he could do about it as it went through inspection, and he gave me the inspection papers. He asked me if I had a friend at Valvoline, insulating I was falsifying the documents. He said "we know what we're doing" - I'm sure he doesn't change the fluids himself. I checked the oil and coolant myself, and took it to Valvoline. (because why would Valvoline change my oil if the oil was good?) If I can get an extra oil change on top of the two that comes with buying the car, that'd be enough for me. I'd delete this review too. I don't think that's too much to ask. Thank you for the response :)
Cale was our salesman and he answered all my questions and very informative. I was going to buy a car I didn't really want because it was more in my price range. He asked me want I really wanted and I told him a SUV. Cale and his team made it happen for me to get the vehicle I really wanted in my price range. Not at any point did I ever feel pressured to buy from them. If you're looking for a real nice down to earth guy ask for Cale!!! Thank you Capital Ford for giving me a Happy Birthday ๐
I finished a deal with Capital Ford and wanted to give an honest review of the location, employees, and buying process. First, I did searches online and inquired about a Ford Bronco on their lot. I was immediately responded to by an agent and asked some questions about setting up a test drive. While I was talking with this person, 4 more messages from different people popped up asking the same questions. This got a little confusing and found out none of them work at the location, but assist with online advice. Once I got a hold of someone that worked at the location, it was a lot better, communication wise. Second, the staff. Tre was the salesman I worked with on location. He was very courteous and got me going with a test drive that day. He drove with me on the test drive and explained all of the vehicle options and answered any questions I had. This set my mind at ease and he did not push for an immediate sale. Really nice experience. The next day, after thinking about buying the vehicle, I called Tre and worked some numbers to fit the budget. The pricing was already great, but they worked with me and got to where I needed to be. The deal was done. Everyone I worked with, including the floor manager was really good and made me feel confident in the purchase. Lastly, the purchase day. The trade in I brought and the actual purchasing was flawless. They took the old car away and cleaned up the new car in a timely fashion. The paperwork was quick and the finance team explained each option available so I could pick what fit my needs. A really nice experience overall. Other than the confusing start to the process, the rest of the buying experience was excellent and I highly recommend buying your next car at Capital Ford. Special shout out to Tre, Mykal, and Bill! ๐ค
Our young adult purchased a diesel truck from this dealership, only to discover that the DEF system was defective. The truck did not even make it home before it began pouring DEF fluid onto the ground. Unfortunately, this occurred late on a Saturday, after business hours, leaving no one available to contact. When he returned to the dealership to pick up the second key and two tires that were still owed to him, he provided time- and date-stamped video evidence of the issue and respectfully requested that the dealership cover the repair. Despite the clear documentation and the fact that the problem surfaced immediately after purchase, the dealership Sales Manager refused to take responsibility for the repair costs. This was an extremely disappointing customer service experience and a poor introduction to vehicle ownership for a first-time buyer. While our kid learned a valuable lesson about thoroughly inspecting a vehicle before purchase, we expected far better accountability and customer support from a dealership.
Ford family my entire life, dad retired Lima Engine. Although this is for Capital Ford, Ricart Ford is not exempt from this review. I have been loyal to Ricart for last 20 years and a few weeks back my wife took her ecosport in for oil change. The fast lane did their 20 point inspection and marked everything good except for the battery. Going in, I knew their was an exhaust problem and her right tail light had been smashed in and not working. I told her if they tell you they can put a new cover and bulb for 150ish to go ahead. Well, when I was texted the results of the inspection and the interior / exterior lights passed I was confused, literally, there is a smash hole and the light does not work (turn signal makes click sound and everything) plus they mentioned nothing about exhaust. Last week took it to mad hatter and they said the flex tube was not even connected. They hooked me up and we were out of there in no time. How was this also missed by Ricart? Anyhow, I decided to try a different Ford as we are looking for a truck. I spoke to City Ford on Thursday about a very specific F150 I saw online. I knew I couldn't get my wife there until Saturday and knew it could possibly be sold by then but because we are not in a rush and if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. Communicated Friday with them when they called me and we confirmed I'd be in later Saturday but with scheduling unsure when but would communicate Saturday to narrow it down. We messaged back and forth Saturday and narrowed my arrival with me getting my wife to surprise her as she knew nothing about this or why we were leaving the house. I was told they were all waiting for me and were getting it ready on Friday. When I got there and met with Gabriel, I asked where was it. He said, oh I'm sorry, we sold that late last night but we have lots on the lot. I said, you wasted my time, I came to see one vehicle and surprise my wife and no one had the decency to tell me it was already sold.... I could have scheduled something in the future when I had more time knowing that but I was already squeezing this in with my wife on an already busy weekend. I turned around after saying you wasted my time and we left. I need a nearby Ford dealership that is honest.. are you out there? Deception to bring people to your door is not OK. I would have been glad to text and tell you exactly what we were looking for and you could have had that and watched for that but instead, I dragged my wife out for a disappointing "surprise" when she hates car shopping, she just wants to take the test drive and let me do the rest.
