Capitol City Ford Greenfield

I recently purchased a 2024 F150 from Capitol City Ford in Greenfield and had a great experience. Damien Stewart was my salesperson and he was excellent to work with. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and never made me feel pressured. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Close to two weeks in, I am very happy with the truck, the overall purchase and the service provided by the sales team. I was literally in the driver's seat of the transaction with no pressure to add anything that I did not want or typical fluff that normally comes with car buying. The only downside however, was receiving just one key. I was pretty frustrated to learn that getting a second key just to access the door code will cost well over to $300. It's my opinion that should have been directly addressed upfront. Aside from that, I would still highly recommend Capitol City Ford and appreciate the buying experience Damien and the team provided.

BEST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! When we needed to replace our Ford F-150. We reached out to our friend, Josh Wiesenauer, as Service Writer at Capital City. He connected us with Alan in the Sales department. Capital City had a "twin" to the truck that was totaled. Since we would be driving a couple hours, Josh worked with the Sales department to ensure everything was in order when we arrived. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Despite working with the Service Department, Josh made sure we had the best experience with his dealership. The bonus was seeing the baby ducks too! JD took the time to answer all of my questions, ensured I fully understood my options, and remained attentive without ever being pushy. He was transparent throughout the process and provided honest, straightforward answers, which made me feel confident and comfortable in my decision. His communication from start to finish was outstanding. Tim Perkins, General Manager, clearly demonstrates that he cares about his customers. He leads a strong team, and it shows in the high level of customer service provided. He worked diligently to find the best fit within my budget while making sure it included everything on my wish list (definitely not a blue vehicle). The dealership atmosphere was welcoming, organized, and efficient throughout the entire experience. Jay Flores was extremely helpful during the finance signing process. He explained everything clearly, ensured I was comfortable with the paperwork, and completed the process in a timely and professional manner. Overall, this was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

So first off I'll lead with the fact that I did not do my homework. I don't know a lot about cars and thought this dealer would be fair. This was also back in 2022 and I was desperate for a decent car in my range with a 3 year old and another on the way. So that part is on me. That said, I believe they used this to take advantage of me. Everything looked fine. Felt good, drove good. It was a 2016 Ford Escape, 60k miles. Then after a while, I went to go get it looked at. The mechanic was shocked. The rust damage in the undercarriage was significant. The thing was literally falling apart. The mechanic told me the dealer had to have known about this and purposely said nothing. I was definitely taken advantage of. I get it, you guys are trying to sell your cars, but this just seemed sleazy.

I was here with my mom getting an oil change for her ford escape when we noticed a technician with black and blue dyed hair were nothing but a white wife beater and sagging pants I found this very unpleasant. We also noticed the same tech sitting on his phone while our vehicle still required attention. I hope to see a change in the representation of there technicians in the near future so we can continue to use the same location again.
