# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with satisfied customers praising the staff's professionalism, willingness to go above and beyond, and transparent communication throughout the purchasing process. However, negative reviews allege serious concerns about vehicle quality, misrepresentation of mechanical condition, and poor customer service when issues arise post-purchase.
JJ and his daughter Summer are great people to buy cars from. Very easy to work with, and and went above and beyond to help us get the car we wanted, while taking the time to explain us the process and options available. Would definitely buy from them again and also recommend to anyone in need of a vehicle.
Good place, great people. I bought a 2018 Chevy Traverse it was nicer than I expected. Happy with the purchase choice.
I know this much this car lot is very unprofessional. How are you trying to make a young woman buy a car that the transmission was a mess and was going to cause her more issues then she needed. 2 text msgs and 3 or 4 calls just for an honest review. One of the messages even says," you didnt purchase a car with us leaving a false review is not cool" well i dont think anyone will sign off on a car within 5 mins of walking in because you had your guy eye ball it. Yall didnt fix the situation you wanted to screw a young lady on her first experience. That's just ugly! DONT EVEN DRIVE PAST HERE WITH A THOUGHT OF BUYING ANY VEHICLE! I work with this young lady and am steady reading these messages. This is appalling and yet they respond so nasty on reviews. And before u post we offered to have our mechanic look at it. Eye balling is just that he still didnt fix it or yall. Gross A response to your comment. No she did not want to take it to her machenic your sales guy said YOUR mechanic eye balled IT AND THE TRANSMISSION OIL HAD WATER. Yall called her back to come and check it out and was RUSHED and asked what warranty she wanted. Bad way to do business. From the looks of the calls and text from your car lot YOU SIR/ MAAM OWNER ARE THE HARRASSER!
We spent $7k cash on a vehicle that lasted just a few days. 2013 equinox with 140k miles that the owner/salesman told us had another 100k miles left in after work that had just been done. Bought the car on Wednesday and by Saturday it had to be taken to the shop. I brought it to my normal mechanic in Ozark who did a full inspection and told me the motor was shot and oil pan just full of metal from a poor repair. We contacted car barn to tell them about this situation and they reminded us the car was bought as is and to just give it a good oil change and it would be fine. When I told my mechanic that he laughed and said that’s what they did to get it to run good for a few days and sell it to you. I priced a new motor and found a shop in Springfield who does a free second opinion so I said why not and brought it in to them. They confirmed motor is shot and $9k to fix a $7k car that lasted just a few days. Believe these reviews and run from this place
We recently bought a Honda Pilot from them. From the moment we walked on to the lot, to the moment we got the title, they were absolutely incredible. There was a light coming on when we test drove it, so they took it to their mechanics and fixed it. They also did our inspection and found a few things that needed replaced and did that for us too, without question, before we took ownership. We've had really bad luck buying cars the last few years, and were very nervous to have to do this process again. However, Car Barn helped us through the process the whole time, and made it much less stressful for us. We will absolutely use them again in the future!
