# Summary Customers report widespread problems with vehicle quality, including mechanical failures such as transmission and engine issues occurring shortly after purchase, along with complaints about inadequate warranty coverage and slow or ineffective repair services. Multiple buyers also cite concerns about deceptive sales practices, hidden vehicle defects, expensive out-of-pocket repair costs, and allegations of illegal modifications like kill switches.
If I could give this company a negative number I would! They are the worst. They overprice cars then they sell cars that has issues just so you can come back to them and get it fixed. Bought a used engine from there 4 months after purchasing the vehicle with no warranty. 7 months later the engine I got went out, transmission went out 2 months before the engine. They are rude and state they wanna help but only want your money! If you like to waste money be my guest and go to them. Also they have kill switches on the vehicles in which they were sued for in 2022. It’s illegal but they’re still doing it! Be mindful of this company
whatever yall do DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THEM I haven’t had my car for a year my trans went out same thing happend to my sister and she also got her car from here. Not even 2 months after getting my car I had a misfire and my coolant runs out quickly! I have to pay a rental every week and also my car not cause they do not accommodate you for ANYTHING If your thinking about it DONT this is the worse car lot and I wish I never was so quick to get a car. let’s not forget their auto place takes SO LONG TO LOOK AT YOUR CAR AND FIX IT THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY
Judging by the recent of the reviews, I'm not the only one with the same problem. Me and my mother both got cars from here right before Christmas. My mom had to take her car in almost immediately because the car was leaking oil and reaked of gasoline. After it being at their shop for over a week, she gets it back, with oil STILL leaking. She finally had to take to an actual dealership to be fixed, and it cost over $2K. My car had the service engine light on and off since I got it and the back windshield wiper was completely broken. While it drove fine, I still knew that light wasn't on because of a sensor issue. Finally, 2-3 weeks ago it stopped working all together. According to the shop I took too, the brakes on the car were NOT the correct ones for this vehicle. I needed to replace the entire brake system, front and back, the mass air flow sensor, and the two front tires. I called to schedule maintenance but not only was the warranty only for a month or the first 1000 miles but the shop on site is now longer there and in Waukegan, which is over an hour for the actual dealership?? I have a horrible feeling that my transmission is probably going to go out within the next few months and the cost to replace that is way MOREEEE than the car is actually worth. My family and I have bought multiple cars from the "Auto warehouse" but not this location. I feel completely taken advantage of. After spending $2.7k that I didn't have to fix my car, I'll be lucky if this car makes past the summer. So now, were both stuck making payments for cars that aren't even worth the money. By the looks of it, they have sold SEVERAL lemons to people in the last couple months, and I'm surprised this place is still operating. If this car breaks down on me, I will take it back to the dealer and leave it there. I'm not paying for a broken car. Save your time and money and go anywhere else.
Purchased a vehicle from Carfect and had issues almost immediately. Brought it in under warranty, but the problem was never fixed. The car later shut down in traffic and still has ongoing electrical and steering issues. I’ve had to pay thousands for rentals out of pocket while they deny responsibility. I strongly recommend not shopping here. Purchase a cash car or be patient and avoid going here at all cost. I’m sure the good reviews are fake or from people who first purchased their vehicle. This place is horrible and unethical. Filing complaints with the BBB, FTC and attorney general!
Don’t listen to the fake reviews, a lot of these are from sales people forcing customers to write a review (experienced it first hand, deleted mine after I left) all for a fake discount. These guys sell lemons and hope you won’t notice until you drive off the lot. They make the people who go to complain seem crazy and shush them out the store. When told about bad cars before sold they encourage to keep quiet and do what’s necessary to complete the sale. Save your money and don’t get locked into their horrible APR trap of a contract. 26% is not normal and they will lie to you for everything to get you to sign. No one there is honest and they had a manager working at this location who was rude to everyone including staff, and they never fired him until they started shrinking the company due to bad sales. Stay far away. If you’re having second thoughts already then please just go to a real dealership with proper insurance and coverage. These guys won’t cover anything and their mechanics use second hand parts too. Spread the word and stay far away.
