I’ve had 4 previous car buying experiences over the years at various dealerships, but my fifth one at CarWise was by far my favorite! Patty was so great to work with, even when I decided to sleep on my decision. And Julie made the whole finance process a breeze. Absolutely love my new car!

Experience started out pretty great with salesman Jimmy. He was super helpful and honestly I don't have any complaints about him specifically. I do also love the car that I got so at least there's that silver lining. However, be warned when going to finance. They add about $5k in unnecessary add-ons and don't disclose anything. Only reason I noticed is because I saw the monthly payment was higher than expected so I started asking questions. I asked for 60 months financing, no extended warranty, no gap insurance, and no other add ons when discussing the deal and somehow all of those got added on by the finance team and they bumped it to 72 months to hide the increase in fees. After some argument, I got them to remove everything except the Car Chief add-on, which was like $1300 for the most useless gps tracker app. They refused to take that off saying it couldn't be uninstalled when in reality it's just a device that could've been unplugged easily. The car chief app also only lasts a couple of years so it's a complete rip-off. Lastly, when it comes to service and warranties, be very cautious and get an inspection if possible. The 3 Month / 3,000 mile powertrain warranty listed on their vehicle postings is false advertising. No such protection is actually offered and nothing about it will be listed on your final sale documents. I found this out when I went to a BMW dealer after purchasing the car and discovered a few costly repairs (about $5k total). Tried contacting my salesman and the service department since I was well within that warranty period and have been getting crickets. I assume they knew about the issues as they werent hard to see once the car is lifted. Also FYI that the email (the "clientcare@" one) that they often times comment on bad reviews is fake, your email will get returned to you. I do also think a car wash and full tank of gas should be bare minimum for a vehicle purchase, so maybe a recommendation there. Overall, it's not the worst used dealer out there but they definitely aren't trustworthy. False advertising and shady tactics to hide thousands of dollars in additional fees, thinking that the customer won't care because they are only looking at the monthly payment.
