Castle Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Chesterton

So, went in for my first time for an oil change on my 22 Gladiator, and not even two hours Later, Low Oil Pressure light is on. I get out to check my oil stick, oil is sprayed in the engine bay, oil stick is showing barley anything. I call service department and the young lady actually advised me to drive home then drive back in the morning. I live 35 mins away🤔. Thank God, I have some common sense, while walking to get oil from the advanced auto they have a 10 Min Oil Change Place next door, they offered me to come in and they'd have a look at it, if it was safe to drive, I grab a quart of oil and drive over. First guess was the tech didn't prep the oil filter correctly or they stripped the gasket when putting it on,because of where the oil was sprayed from under the hood, go figure this was correct. I was present observing there work at this place showing me what was done incorrectly. They had to service me for an oil change in order to get me on the road again. So, I go in to the service department next day at Castle, and they give me a story about a defective oil filter, then offer a free oil change next time i come in, free clean up. They Service Manager wasn't trying to hear anything about it, just trying to leave at closing time. As so many people carry themselves this way these days, A little responsiblity, "This could've had me with no vehicle" and a Full Refund would've been suffice. Not just obligations, of course clean the mess that was caused by the oil change. So, im out of pocket $109 for a botched oil change. Due to 2 Separate oil changes in a 1&1/2 hours.

Madison has gone above and beyond to help me find the perfect vehicle for me these past couple of months. She's amazing and makes you feel comfortable with your decision. Tony has also gone above and beyond his position to help me with the perfect vehicle as well. I would recommend these two over and over again!

Joey was amazing!!! Always been a dodger guy. Went to the dark side (GM) because a family friend was a salesman. But now I’m back. All the area Dodge dealers aren’t like “they used to be”, customer service!!! Chesterton dealer has reaffirmed my faith in MOPAR!!! I will be recommending people to your dealership in the future. Sales managers and finance were great also.

I can’t brag enough about my experience at Castle. From the moment we walked through the door, Lisa greeted us with a smile and she was ready to show us as many cars as it took for me to find “the one”. She was patient and kind and never made me feel rushed or forced to make a decision. It took some convincing but Lisa talked me into test driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee L and I am SO GLAD she did!! The car was obviously made for me and the decision to buy it seemed like a no-brainer. I love my new car and I will definitely be sending people Lisa’s way! Thanks again Lisa!!!
