I had a great experience at Castle VW in Downers Grove. From start to finish, the entire team made the process smooth and stress-free. Sergio was an awesome salesman — knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful without ever making me feel pressured. He took the time to answer my many questions. Adam and John, the managers, were both great to work with as well. They were professional, transparent, and clearly focused on making sure everything went smoothly throughout the process. And Ruben in finance was amazing. He explained everything clearly, made the paperwork easy to understand, and made sure the final steps were quick and seamless. Overall, the whole team made this a really positive car buying experience. I’d absolutely recommend Castle Volkswagen Downers Grove to anyone looking for a dealership that values great customer service and takes care of their customers.

My service advisor was professional but that’s about it. Came in for an oil change and had to remind my advisor that my car should’ve been washed and then he apologizes and goes to get it “washed” and you can tell it was just hosed down. i genuinely laughed when they brought me back the same dirty car just wet this time. Just go to a different VW dealership you’ll get the same prices and professionalism without the cut corners.

I would not recommend this dealership, specifically because of my experience with their service department. On April 14, my vehicle was damaged while in their care. What followed was extremely frustrating. It took several days just to get in contact with an actual person to discuss what happened. I was repeatedly promised callbacks and updates that never came. On April 17, I spoke with the GM, Chris, who was rude and dismissive during our interaction. I was told he would follow up with me early the following week regarding when my bumper would arrive. I made it very clear that all I wanted was communication and to be kept informed. That was another promise that was not kept. As of April 28, I still have not received any update, call, or communication. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and broken promises have made this a very disappointing experience. I would strongly caution others before trusting this dealership with their vehicle. I will note my experience with sales was awesome! My review specifically reflects my experience with service department!

Sergio was amazing!!! Very thorough, listened carefully and didn't try to haggle me into anything I didn't want. He more than worked with me and my finances which I'm super grateful for and appreciative of his efforts. I will definitely recommend him and Castle Volkswagen to others moving forward. Ruben Delgado, Finance Manager, was also just as great to work with. Paperwork took five minutes tops! Thank you both again, you made my weekend!

The car we wanted to see was accurately described by Castle VW, no surprises! Our sales person Dunia Mora did an excellent job helping us evaluate the car and is a great listener understanding we had specific needs and we arrived at a great price for us with ease. Car was turned over to us clean and ready to go.
