Century Hyundai

I had an excellent experience at Century Hyundai Saint John, working with Peter El-Far. From the start, there was absolutely no pressure. Peter approached everything from a place of genuinely wanting to understand exactly what I was looking for. I came in with a very specific goal in mind and honestly didn’t expect it to be met, so I was pleasantly surprised when Peter not only followed through but found exactly what I wanted, with a couple of added bonuses on top of that. My son had also purchased a vehicle a few weeks prior, so we were able to take advantage of the “Refer a Friend” promotion, and he’ll be receiving a cheque in the mail — a great extra perk. I’m looking forward to building a positive, long-term relationship with Century Hyundai Saint John throughout my ownership of my beautiful new ride. Highly recommend both the dealership and Peter El-Far!

Over the years I have dealt with a few car dealerships, some good some not so good. When it come to Century Hyundai I cannot say enough good things about them, Friendly, helpful and on the mark with their service. Yesterday my car was in for service and when it was finished it was parked in the back lot and the young lady walked back got the car for me. Thank-you you will not find a friendlier group of people to deal with.

The absolute worst customer service from the service department manager. To make a long story short, I was told by the service manager I needed a new catalytic converter on my 2020 Tucson. This was the 2nd one. It had already been replaced in 2023, by this dealership. I questioned why it was going again? I was told to trade my car in, not to by that type of vehicle again,and to put an additive in when I get an oil change. She then said she would check with Hyndai Canada for warranty. She didn't bother to get back to me. When I called her a week later, she told me to take my car somewhere else to have it fixed. Not impressed. Called the place she told me, they wouldn't touch the issue. So I went to Oregans Hyundai in Dartmouth. They helped me!!! Granted it took a lot longer to have it fixed. The issue was with the engine. So now I have a new engine and catalytic converter. NEVER again will I deal with Century. I also now underatand why your service department is easy to get an appointment. Your service manager desperately needs some customer service skills. Shameful.

Was into Saint John Hyundai for a recall when Troy Kingston noticed the paint issue on my car. He took it upon himself to look into getting it seeing what could be done to help. I ended up having my whole car was painted and it looks brand new again. His above and beyond service will sure make me consider Hyundai again!

With 97,000km on our 2022 tucson went in for a service, breaks all around, and we had an EPB light on the dash, which should be warranty. Happily ready to spend around $2,000 dollars there today for parts and labor. They informed me that they could not warranty the 300 dollar harness because whoever changed my tires must have unclipped the harness. This was the only explanation for having an unclipped harness, tires. One has to wonder and ask themselves... why the hell would someone have to drop a wiring harness to change tires. That is hilarious to think someone would mess with a wiring harness to change 4 tires over. Theres no way that it couldve been the flooded roads around truro that ripped the bottom protective skirting off the car... had to be someone changing tires. Might need to give Sherlock Holmes a few more watches before trying to play detective to screw us out of our only chance at a warranty claim over 100k kms. They did call back after I said to stop doing any work, I will spend my money at a friends shop rather then support this joke of a place. The offered to "help" us on the cost if we traded in, and then at least we would have warranty... How. Rich. Is. That. So essentially id get a bigger longer payment so you could screw us out of our next warranty claim based off of nothing but crappy detective skills. Rant over, shitty outfit. We'll buy elsewhere this time.
