The dealership receives mixed feedback, with some customers praising individual salespeople for smooth transactions and attentive service, while others report significant frustrations with customer service responsiveness, service department diagnostics, and vehicle delivery conditions. Common complaints include poor communication from management, inadequate vehicle inspections before delivery, and service department failures to properly diagnose or address issues.
Got my BMW X5 from Francisco and it was honestly a great experience. Super easy, no pressure, and he really knew his stuff. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. Definitely recommend him if you’re looking to buy.
By far the worst car buying experience I have ever had it’s also actually taken about 2-3 weeks for me to write this review because I was waiting for a manager to call me back and try to correct this First things first , when you buy a car out of state that dealership is supposed to send the car with a temporary registration so you are able to drive the car until their 3rd party company registers the car which takes about 5-6 weeks , I’ve called and asked for them to ship over a temporary registration and they say “we are not able to do that when you are not a California resident” which is absolutely false if I had went in person and bought it they would of slapped the plate on there so I could drive home I paid for the service to get it dropped off and they refuse to send me a temporary registration so I will have my car sitting for 5-6 weeks because I can not drive it 2 THEY SENT ME A 70,000$ car and this is the icing on the cake Car was DIRTY , THE BATTERY TO THE CAR KEY DEAD , and guess what 0 gas 14 miles till empty I have called about no exaggeration 30 times and asked to speak to a manager every response by the girl who answers the phone “ the manager is in a meeting he will call you back “ guess what it’s been 3 weeks 0 call back the sales person FAVI absolutely rude p ways to try to make it right I was probably the easiest sale of his life I seen a car I liked it I was under contract in less then 24 hours I have bought numerous cars and this has been the worst experience ever All I am asking is for them to have the BMW near me to detail the car on their dime since I received a dirty car, SEND ME A REGISTRATION so I can drive my car that’s 70,000$ so I can take it to bmw TO CHANGE THE DEAD BATTERY ON THE KEY, and idk maybe a gas card? Let’s see if they contact me now it’s actually sad I have to write a google review for this it’s a very simple thing to fix DONT BUY FROM THEM CAR IS BEAUTIFUL BUT CUSTUMER SERVICE IS A 0-10
I’ve taken many months (if not over a year) to decide whether or not to write a review. I wanted to ensure I gathered all facts and wrote nothing out of frustration. Around 12,000 miles, my M4 Competition developed a rattle that drove me nuts. It would rattle on cold start and then upon slight acceleration at low RPMs. I went into the service department with a few ideas of what could be causing the issue. We set up a date to return for a diagnostic and they set me up with a loaner. The loaner process was seamless and that’s what I’m awarding stars to. However, I left a detailed note in my vehicle upon drop off. This had notes on my research of the problem and I was hopeful this would simplify things for the service department. I also verbally gave this info to my service rep. Some of the notes pertained to the possibility that the rattle could be from the exhaust valves or waste gate. I asked that the vehicle be test driven to provide a clear example of the rattle sound. Upon returning a few days later, I noticed my car was stored in a semi-enclosed parking lot on site. It was covered in dust (typical with wind in California). What this showed me is it was unlikely that the car was test driven to diagnose the problem. I confirmed that when I observed the odometer hadn’t changed. I asked what assessments were done and was told “you have a modified diffuser that conflicts with your exhaust and causes rattle.” I was presented with over a $2,500 estimate to replace with a stock rear diffuser. I do not believe my vehicle was actually looked at in depth. Later down the line, I decided to remove the diffuser myself in my garage. You probably guessed it; there was no conflict between diffuser and exhaust. After looking a bit closer, the problem is clearly coming from the stock exhaust valve actuator which is one of the items I asked to be looked into. The diagnostic process was the biggest waste of $250 I’ve experienced. Even though this dealership is the closest for me, I will not be going back.
Great experience buying a car from Century West BMW. Mark King was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. I live out of state, and Mark went the extra mile to ensure that I wouldn’t pay double taxes if I picked up the car in California. He was always quick to respond by text and eased my mind about any concerns I had. The sales manager, Neviana, was also great. Would recommend Century West to anyone looking to buy a BMW.
I took a chance with this dealership since they were close by despite all the bad reviews. I had $17k worth of work done (paid by extended warranty company) and received a car with more damage back. My car's axel was damaged during repair and they installed a new $4k headlight with huge scratch. Dealership will not fix either issue. They offered to buff out the scratch despite likely internal cracking and wearing of UV coating. I paid for a new headlight I should get a new headlight not a repaired headlight. See images for headlight damage and for axel damage. The black component directly below the axel was the replaced component which interfaced with the axel causing damage. My service advisor, Brian did a great job coordinating the the warranty company / rental company / BMW loaner. However the service department really let me down here.
