This was my first experience buying a car. I dealt with Michael and he couldn't have made me feel more at ease. I had been recommended Champion by people who had bought Jeeps there after they shopped around for a long time at other dealerships. I will recommend them to other people after this.

Had a great experience! To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of Champion based off of some previous visits but I heard they had new management so I thought I would give them another chance. This time everything went flawlessly and they even finished the recall work two hours earlier than what I was quoted! Everyone was beyond friendly and professional. I will definitely be back!

Great service dept. Got me in quickly and took care of my oil change in no time flat. Super friendly and super professional. The picture is from where I bought the truck, but the amazing service was at Champion of Decatur!

The pricing was as advertised online. I was pre-qualified so we got the paperwork, extended warranty done, and ready to go within 3 hours! Worked with Chris and he was very nice! They had the car out front and ready for me to test drive by the time I got there!

I would not recommend Champion of Decatur based on my experience. We purchased a 2022 Kia Telluride with approximately 60,000 miles from this dealership. During the buying process, we were heavily pressured into purchasing an extended warranty. The salesperson specifically told us it was a “bumper-to-bumper” warranty that would cover everything. We later discovered that was not true. To make matters worse, our loan was extended from 60 months to 72 months without our knowledge or consent. The problems continued after the sale. The dealership lost our vehicle title, causing delays in getting the vehicle registered. They had to resend paperwork because they made mistakes that required us to sign everything again. In March 2026, while on vacation, our Telluride broke down with approximately 87,000 miles on it. The vehicle was taken to Champion of Decatur for repairs, where we were eventually told it needed a complete engine replacement. The most frustrating part was the complete lack of communication. At no point did anyone from the dealership proactively contact me with updates. I had to call them every single time just to find out what was happening with my vehicle. To make matters even worse, I was informed the engine replacement would not be covered because the dealership sold us the wrong extended warranty—one that does not cover engine failures, despite being told at the time of purchase that it was bumper-to-bumper coverage. Kia also denied a goodwill warranty claim, citing a lack of maintenance. I provided Champion of Decatur with complete maintenance records showing the vehicle had been properly maintained but they did not send the records to Kia like they said they would. The records were finally sent in but Kia still denied the goodwill warranty without explanation. Between the misleading warranty information, the undisclosed loan term change, losing our title, repeated paperwork errors, and the terrible communication throughout the repair process, this has been one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever had. I expected honesty, professionalism, and customer service. Unfortunately, Champion of Decatur failed on all three.
