I have been a loyal fan and owner of Toyota vehicles for many years, having owned models like the Corolla, Vios, and Fortuner back in Vietnam. The brand is truly in my blood. However, my experiences with Toyota Charlottetown have completely shattered my trust. This is not the first time they have disappointed me. Four years ago, when I wanted to buy a car here, the staff treated me with an arrogant, dismissive attitude and refused to sell to me simply because I was on a short-term visa at the time. Their terrible customer service forced me to travel all the way to Nova Scotia to purchase my RAV4, where the dealership there was 10 times more professional, welcoming, and dedicated. Recently, I decided to give their service department a chance and brought my car in for a scheduled maintenance on May 15th. When I got the car back, the "Maintenance Required Soon" warning was still on. They completely forgot to reset the system. This proves a total lack of a final Quality Control (QC) check. If they are this careless with a basic, visible notification on the dashboard, how can I trust that they actually performed the actual maintenance under the hood? Theoretically, it makes me highly suspicious that they might have just charged me a fee without doing the actual work. It is obvious why they treat customers this way. As the only Toyota dealer in the area, they face zero local competition. With Charlottetown's booming population, they simply do not care about losing individual customers because they know people have no other choice nearby. They have become lazy, arrogant, and complacent. Toyota Canada and the parent company in Japan need to know about this. The core of the Toyota Way is built on two pillars: "Continuous Improvement" (Kaizen) and "Respect for People." The behavior of Toyota Charlottetown completely contradicts this global philosophy. They show zero respect for people and zero commitment to quality. Toyota Charlottetown acts like they are above everyone else. I will never bring my vehicle back here again. If you want professionalism and genuine Toyota standards, save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience with Abby at Toyota. She was incredibly patient and explained the differences between each model in great detail, which helped us make the right choice. Our schedule changed a few times, but Abby was very understanding and helped us reschedule and arrange a test drive without any stress.
